Ancient Warriors is probably my favorite rouge-grade deck, and the first physical one I assembled after I took a hiatus during the Synchro era. Getting to see the body Tear is immensely gratifying. Appreciate the video!
I love Ancient Warriors but I always brick going second. Took a look at your decklist and our ratios aren't that different, I even have 2 Lu Bu. I could run more pots but haven't crafted enough Double dragon lords. Maybe I'm just unlucky with the deck
i definitely would recommend to play 3 pots. if you brick a lot you could play 3 liu xuan. however bricking shouldnt be a frequent problem with 3 tenki, 3 sun mou, 2 liu xuan, 3 maxx c and 3 pots. much rather the problem would be that you draw either too much engine or too many board breakers so if your play gets interrupted you have no follow up because you didnt draw any extenders. anyway, you can brick with the best meta deck. sometimes you just have bad luck. it happens, just keep playing
@@sirnightw a bit late to the party but I can maybe help you out to brick less. I reached Diamond Tier 4 with my Ancient Warrior Deck through some little changes. I agree with you that sometimes it can bricks but it must be very bad luck. There are some ways to get more time to draw or cards which gives you a better advantage. I still have 3 x Lubu in my deck despite it can brick, and have 2 x Zhuge Kong and only 1 x Liu Xuan. The rest of the Ancient Warrior Cards are the same like this Yter. For the side cards I replace the 3 x infinite impermance with 3 y evenly matched. This card comes very good in hand especially against Decks like Kashtira or Labrynth. If you go second and straight to battle phase and switch to main phase 2 for using the card which clears the board of your opponent except for 1 card. Another card which I dont use is forbidden droplet. You need to sacrifice one additional card for it which can maybe cost your game? Use instead 1 x No Dark Ruler no more. Its a nice combination also to use no Dark Ruler no more in Main Phase 1 and after that Evenly Matched. Especially good against Monsters who can annul effects like baronne de fleur. Instead of Karakuri I use 2 x Lava Golem 1 x Winged Dragon of Ra Sphere Mode and 1 x Kaiju The most opponents with meta decks are always having 3-4 monster on the field and maybe special summon 1 additionally in your main turn With winged dragon of ra you would get a huge advantage since it needs 3 tribute monster and unlike Karakuri, you dont need to let your opponent activate his monster effects to use them for tribute, which maybe can bite you back if he gets a huge advantage with the effects he used up, like labyrinth monsters setting traps from the deck or adding cards into his hand. Another advantage from Winged Dragon of ra sphere mode is, it has 0 atk and cannot attack. So no fear that it can bites you back. Another one sphere mode cannot be target for an attack or effect and it returns to your field in the end of your opponents turn. So its able to use for your protection and in the opponents turn, many decks has the monster cards who can special summon from itself if they dont control a monster, which blocks them to do it. And if you summon sphere mode, it counts a normal summon and your opponent is not able to draw a card if he used the effect of maxx c The last thing what is different from my AW to him is, instead of ash blossom use instead 2-3 droll & lockbird. You will be able to ruin his whole plan to block him to add cards into his hand for the whole turn like opponents who use Purrely decks or other who needs an amount of card to summon their boss monster. For the side deck I almost The same one and its really good. I hope I could help and maybe the comment reached to you one day 😂
it will get negated a lot but whenever it resolves its basically a free win. also if they use ash/called by on it its also decent for you as your plays wont get ashed and they wont maxx c you.
cao de and zhou gong are good aw cards but they are just outclassed by the other ones. competetive wise i wouldnt play them. however, they are not bad and can help you win games. whenever i am bored, i try to spice the deck up by playing them.

if you are asking wether i play a budget version of the deck, no i dont. if you wanna know if the deck itself can be build cheaply, yes it can. 1 lu feng and 1 double dragon lords is all you need to play it.
it depends on your definition of rogue. its not meta and never will be meta but it can beat any meta deck as you see in the replays. if thats how you define rogue, then it is. if you define it by having constant (even if minor) success in tournaments then its not. however, you can top tournaments with it, its just unlikely to win them.
one of the few benefits of a rogue deck is that people wont know its choke points and how to play against it. also having 3 effects on any aw card is intimidating enough to not read it all
Tear is a deck for cancer to the game of yugioh, a super easy to pilot pile of garbage that has a stupid high winnrate. If you are playing this deck you need to unistall and go back to easier games like fortnite.
they would just summon kitkallos, search sulliek and pass. so maxx c wouldve been just upstart goblin while they would have access to all their relevant plays on my turn. this is the reason why people say that tearlaments can play around maxx c. actually, in most cases they cant. but you have to know when to maxx c. i waited until they started to commit to build a real board to make the maxx c as profitable as possible
