  • I recently had a running form analysis performed at Hitting Stride Physical Therapy. www.hittingstridept.com
During my visit, I ran in the Nike Vaporfly 2, Alphafly 1, Adidas Adios Pro 3, Adidas Prime X Strung, Saucony Endorphin Speed and Puma Deviate Nitro 2. We documented my landing angle and how much pronation I experienced in each shoe on both my left and right side. There were significant differences between the shoes that were tested. Some of the results really surprised me.
After this analysis I have better insight into what I can do to improve my running form, increase my efficiency, and which of these shoes work better for me. It's one thing to describe how a shoe feels to me when I use it but quite another to see some slow motion proof of what these shoes are doing to my foot strike. Watch the video to see how it all went.

Thanks. Was an interesting experience. Surprising how much difference there was between the shoes.

This is an amazing video. I’d love to get this type of thing done for myself.

It was a cool experience. Very different to see stuff in slow motion that you can’t notice on your own.

Very useful video ! I have Deviate Nitro 2 and find it pretty stable, too.
My right foot is also overpronated than my left foot. Please share with us what exercises can improve the right foot.

I'm glad it helped. I think that the DN2 is the best shoe overall that I've tried in the last year. The physical therapist who performed the analysis is going to send me some exercises to do. I haven't received those yet. I'll definitely let you know when I do.

Great video! Have you tried Hoka Rocket x2? It seems a pretty stable carbon plated shoe.

Yes. I do have the Rocket X 2. I have a review of that on my channel. I also wore them to run the Brooklyn Half Marathon this year. Definitely a stable super shoe. I also got the Endorphin Elite recently. I’ll probably match up the Vaporfly 2, Rocket X 2, Adios Pro 3 and Endorphin Elite in a video soon.
