    I love this sweater so much, especially the fact that you wound and made your own scrap skeins before starting! What technique did you use to join the panels together?

    • @cassrwong

      thank you! I crocheted them together :)

    Super cute ❤ would have been cute to pick different colors for each of the ribbing. Very very cute. Love it ❤

    • @cassrwong
      @cassrwong  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I was thinking about doing different colours for each ribbing! but I decided to keep them the same colour since the sweater itself was super colourful anyway!

    Love the sweater! I was wondering, do you have tips for picking up stitches to add a knitted collar to a crochet project?

  • @ltottman996
    @ltottman996 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Aww the jumper looks adorable, I felt the same when I made my first crochet sweater, that sense of achievement.
    The pain in your wrists is repetitive strain injury. Common for both knitting and crochet. Remember to take breaks during craft sessions (after 30 mins or a hour) and relax the muscles, the gloves should help

    • @cassrwong
      @cassrwong  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      thank you so much! I've definitely been trying to take breaks more and the gloves are definitely helping too!

    The sweater turned out very cute :) I am planning making one too.
    If your wrists still hurt from crocheting I'd advise buying a set of Clover amour hooks, my wrist was hurting too when I started crocheting, and I was using a simple metal hook, but as soon as I changed my hooks to Clovers I no longer have pains 💙🤍🤎

    I’m considering doing this as well after seeing a similar sweater for $100 online. I’m gathering scraps by weight now and going to use the garter looking single crochet stitch. I think I want thin stripes of each color. I may have to invest in a device to make the cakes though. Love what you are doing and enjoyed your video. Thank you!

    Did you say you decreased in the sleeves or just made long rectangles?

    • @cassrwong
      @cassrwong  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I worked the sleeves in the round and decreased once per row for the first 5 rows I think and then worked straight down until I reached the cuff part and decreased every second stitch for 2 rows :)
