- Join MC Barber as he transforms his client's hair and beard in this Chris Bossio Challenge tutorial! Learn how to create a blow out from 0 with a pompadour, with a focus on a sculpting technique with a straight razor, and a special airbrush technique for the beard and hairline. -0:37 After parting the crown, MC takes vertical sections using a razor technique that removes bulk.
-2:07 Using a 1 1/2 metal guard on Oster clippers to remove bulk and create a foundation.
-3:31 Starting from skin, MC uses Andis trimmers to taper the back and sides.
-4:18 Switching to Wahl clippers, MC begins to blend his taper with an open blade, adjusting the lever when necessary.
-4:58 Still using Wahl clippers, he uses a 1 plastic guard.
-6:31 Fading down to avoid removing unwanted hair, he uses a 1/2 plastic guard on Wahl clippers.
-7:12 He uses a straight razor to finish the taper then a shape up for the hairline and beard.
-8:31 MC returns to Andis trimmers to fully blend the blow out.
-9:30 Using a sculpting technique with a straight razor, MC removes bulk while creating texture.
-10:53 To further blend the sides, he uses scissors over comb..
-12:20 Moving to the top of the head, MC uses a hair cutting razor to remove length while thinning out the hair and creating texture.

Is Bossio being sponsored for color enhancement? Color enhancement is no good. If you walk out of the barbershop and it starts raining, you're gonna get black paint all over your face.
Real barbers doesn't use color enhancements.
You gotta scrub it out, water itself just going over it won't wash it out. Gotta learn and know your product. Fibers with wash out, semi permanents won't wash out as quickly.

Well I don’t agree with this whole statement, Bossio is one hell of a barber. I have been following him for the last year or 2 and his skills have greatly developed and is becoming more and more diversified. As far as the color enhancements I agree with you, and it’s not barbering, I think barbering has turned ghetto. I have had multiple people show me pics of IG photoshop haircut then I break the news to them they are enhancements. One of the reason I like Mc is that he doesn’t do enhancements, hopefully this is a one time deal.
