Heads up to the people making this (so u dont make the same mistake as i did lol) in section 2 my curling/cinching of the increases were bad but i just continued cos i thought it would straighten out once it reaches the desired length… it didn’t, so i repeated that whole section by alternating 2inc, 3inc, 2inch and also became more conscious of the curling, i lessened my tension in the last like 10 stitches and stretched it out on every row. Hope this helps lol I am using 4ply milk cotton yarn 4-4.5mm hook

No need to change the pattern, just chain two instead of one after every decrease so there's not a lot a tension in between rows

I just finished this n it came out sooooooooooo horrible LOL. I had to add more inches for my bust and it came out so long :( didn’t work for my body! Such a cute piece, but definitely more practical for the smaller chested girlies just a PSA 😂

Hi! I'm currently making this top and I'm halfway through with section 5 to reach the length of 2inch, but it seems like my top is waaaay tooo long. How do i fix this? :(

i'm a bit confused, in the first section, you increased at the start of the even rows and end of the odd rows. is this the same for section 2 - increasing at both the start and end of the rows, or is it just increasing at the end of the odd row? thank you!

hi so excited to be making this top! It’s beautiful. When you’re increasing for sections 1, do you add 2 at the end and then do 2 again when you turn? Or just do 2 at the end and then crochet one in each stitch on the way back (to the straight side)? I feel like mine is taking way longer to get to the right length than yours is

At the end of each row do we increase or only on one side? If so how can we track which side.
For bigger bust size the amount of decreases will increase i faced this problem😢

For section two do we increase on the curve side on the way down and when you turn or only on the way down I feel like mine is curving to much and it’s only increasing by three once 😭

Hey I’m making this too rn and I’ve reached the part where we’re supposed to increase by putting in three single crochets but my top seems to be curling up a lot and the piece just looks very weird to be continued.My doubt was ,are we supposed to put in three sc every row or every alternate row ?? 😖😖
Try alternating the rows you do 3sc increase. Do 2sc increase in between. It depends on the yarn you use I think. Stretching it a little as you go helps to- also but the time you do the sc around the perimeter at the very end it helps with bunching.
@@cutiekittystudio Okay ill try doing this now but did you increase by 3 sc every row??
@@Aliyah_ck I did, but it’s okay to change it up a little depending on your yarn and hook size! For me the cinching wasn’t bad, I just stretched it gently as I went but if the cinching is bad for you then definitely 3sc, 2sc, 3sc for that section. That should alleviate the issue

Since I’m doing mine with some thinner yarn and thinner needle (3.5) my rows doesn’t mach your gauge.
Is is possible for you to write the length of every section? Either now or in future tutorials?
You could also just let us see every section laying on your measure board (I assume it’s inches?) that way it would make it much easier doing your beautiful design with any yarn or gauge.
