Make sure and have good ventilation when using fuels in your tent. Also consider food storage and prep outside tent to avoid bears, racoons, etc. from smelling food and breaking in to get it.

I'd love to do something like this. You have to live in a high trust society and that is definitely not where I live. I lived in Japan around 50 years ago and loved it. I've always wanted to go back.

You need to get a dog to keep you company. Plus, it would be a great protector. My pup helps me relax and gives the best company. 100% unconditional love ♥️. Just a suggestion. How tranquil this trip must have been ☺️. I used to hike and camp by cannot anymore due to Rheumatoid Arthritis Disease.
