I just dont understand the appeal for the wide open, high downforce, style of racing. It does not look like good racing at all.

You can tell everyone was racing super hard when literally every single driver had some sort of damage on their car
Bowyer might weigh 140 lbs soaking wet. Any punch he does throw certainly isn't anything like a machine gun. More like a pellet gun maybe. Newman would knock him into the middle of next month. You didn't touch nose Clint. His helmet was on....Real smart. What a big man you are. Course when Ryan gets out, all you do is run your mouth.

Great racing, past 2 weeks have been great. No more stages or playoffs. Change the points system....1st place gets 40 points 2nd place gets 39 and so on...easy and simple.

@blueridgeboy like his last year at SHR when he won the Brickyard 400 and would have won at Richmond without Bowyer's intentional spin? SHR wasn't nearly as strong as of an organization with Newman was there compared to the four car stable they have now and Bowyer has underperformed in fast cars. Meanwhile, Newman is overperforming driving the horrible 6 car.
Yeah, they got rid of him while keeping Danica... they were obviously making decisions based on talent...
Stage racing is lame. The headlights on the cars are fake. The exhaust stickers on the back of the cars are fake and even the friggen grass is fske and you put out a caution if someone farts too louds And you wonder why nascar.
What the heck is the point of having stages in the all star race. I understand the all star open but after that just let them run the 85 laps

Does anyone care anymore about nascar? I use to like it, even worked for a guy that owned a team, 2 guys actually. But now if you watch a race, you just wasted 3 hours of your life.
The races have actually been decent this year. Daytona, Bristol, Talladega, Kansas, & the All-Star race have been great, Texas & Richmond were solid enjoyable races, and the rest of the races have been average, but there hasn't been a bad race yet this year
