"Come to me, you who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest." That was the theme of Season 3. Jesus said this to a crowd of thousands before also saying it to Simon while they stood on water. Season 4? Jesus is weary and heavy-laden, and He needs rest.
We're getting closer and closer to Jerusalem, to what we know is coming. Jesus is getting increasingly frustrated, and yes, sad. Not because he's getting closer to death, but because of the reasons He must die. From his faith's religious leaders, to the holy city of Jerusalem, to his own friends and followers, people are not understanding his mission. To that end, He must allow painful things, and even set in motion certain confusing or bittersweet events, to accelerate the outcomes that will lead to Holy Week.
Season 4 marks the midpoint of the most famous and influential story in human history. It will be painful, and it will be joyous. It will be bittersweet. But by all measures, Season 4 will also be our best.
    - Dallas Jenkins, Creator of The Chosen

I am a 72 year old man. I am a big guy 6’4 inches 230 pounds a trained close quarters combat fighter! Since season 1 and through 2 and 3 I have never wept as much as I have with this series! I have deeply fallen in love with my Savior and Lord Jesus!

I’m in high school but watching this show has lead me to wanting to pursue ministry in my life and possibly become a missionary. It has deeply impacted me and I’m very grateful. ❤

When Jesus fell down to the ground and cried! That got me. He really was a man of sorrow, acquainted with grief, so He could fully understand ours. I love my Savior!

“Jesus wept.” I always just pictures tears softly falling down His cheeks. This rendition of that verse just got me right in the heart.

This series has helped me begin to understand Jesus's suffering on this earth. That, in turn, has opened my eyes to how the Son of God can have compassion on me. As the show continues to grow in popularity, it's inevitable that the enemy will do everything he can to make those involved stumble. Please pray that God will protect everyone involved, delivering them from evil, for the glory of His name.

Watching Jesus's emotions in the last scene was SO heart wrenching!!!...knowing what's coming...seeing Judas take the money! What a spectacular job Dallas and ALL the crew have done. The whole world needs to see this!

Greatest man in history, had no servants, yet they called him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. His name is Jesus. And HE is coming back!!!

The Chosen has brought to life the greatest story ever told!! I’ve watched it 3 times so far. Finally my husband is watching it who was not a believer. He is getting baptized on Christmas Eve! ♥️ all glory to God!! We’ve been married for 42 years and I couldn’t get him to understand. God’s timing is perfect! 🙏♥️

I'm already crying my eyes out just watching the trailer and seeing Jesus's suffering. Forgive me Father, i know nothing about suffering but complain about everything every day. What He went thru so that we may be saved. Glory be to God the most High. ❤❤❤

I never imagined he cried like that 💔💔💔. This series is making me see that he was really human and the son of God at the same time 🙌🏽

Watching the end of the last episode of season 4, I realized that if My Lord and Savior could mount that donkey and ride down to his torturous death, I can get out of bed each day and face my own trials, which seemed to pale in comparison to what He endured. Your show made me realize that. Thank you!

“Jesus wept” could be the one verse that describs this whole season 4 🥺

I have a very disabled son who is also suffering from addiction. He seems to have accepted Jesus into his life but so many struggles remain. Please pray for mental emotional healing . Jesus in the series is portrayed so humanly womderful. A face full of compassion.

My husband and I have been anxiously waiting for season 4, binge watched the first three seasons several times. He was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy many years ago, suddenly declined and passed away Nov 29th 😞 When the season 4 trailer dropped, I cried because he won’t get to see this season, but then I remembered he is literally in the presence of The Lord, and can now talk to all of these people in person. He’s also completely healed, Praise God. So I will watch season 4, but I will miss sharing and discussing it with him 🙏
