      @stuntedgrowth You're a very inspiring outreaching vlogger! Would we all benefit to take a page from your book of, "each one, teach one!" In some holy texts it's even commanded we do such! Young brother, continue to dispel the myths that railroaded far too many! That nothing comes easy lest it spoils and rots in the sun. Also, redemption is attainable no matter how far ones strays....provided they don't wait until all their time has gone! Continued success. Can't wait until your next post .

      Real talk I remember Lenny Cooke from BK..he played in those ABCD Mega- Camps that LeBron James,Carmelo Anthony & Sebastian Telfair played in.. And Lenny Cooke was rated#1 overall in that camp, but somehow fell off due to BAD decisions and lack of effort off & on the basketball court.. Yeah he's the perfect example of wasted potential..Stunted Growth!!!!🙏🙏

    Hey here's an idea for another video. I went to college with this dude... I didnt know him personally but we were there at the same time, I graduated 2 years after him.
    He actually MADE IT to the league but at the age of 29! At the time I think he was the oldest rookie EVER! He played on that Pistons team that lost in thr NBA Finals defending their title from the previous year. He was in the 2001 NCAA dunk contest too. The college we went to was only a division 3 school but he was a Star there. The crazy part about his story is that he might have gotten into the league at an earlier age but dropped out of high school to get a job because his girlfriend got pregnant. He probably was a D-1 prospect when he was younger but had to settle for a D-3 school because of his age I guess. His name is Horace Jenkins. Here is a clip of him in the 2001 NCAA dunk contest. There isn't much info on him on TH-cam. But they mentioned his name and did a little feature of his story back when the Finals aired. I remember watching it and taped it. I might even be able to find that VHS somewhere... maybe. Its a bitter sweet story. Dude made it... but it was kinda late. But better late than never. th-cam.com/video/huGxi0l5keU/w-d-xo.html

And not help them get to the pros, or through college for the one term future. It’s sad to see this for many reasons but gals that he made it to the CBA, n over seas! Someone offered him to stay the night, a sleep on the couch and leave in the morning so he could get some rest. But he refused and then that shit happen. SMH. Also even though he couldn't get into school because of grades it was some other factors that kept him out of DePaul so there's that too. But great jobs on your videos. You have another subscriber

    Never realized he got hurt early morning after his birthday. So he can't be looked at too bad for going out. Passing classes to go to college also couldn't be held against him. His first option was the league. At that point in his life he was far removed from education. He would have failed at somepoint. He should have gone overseas first to get money right after high school and worked his way back into the league and gotten away from negative influences.

    • @kevinwoods2602

    KG would have better assisted Ronnie by getting him an invite to the T-Wolves training camp. Or at least a summer league spot. But he did not. Why? Ronnie's skills, aside from pure athleticism, did not match NBA levels for ball handling and shooting. Then came his sexual assault charges and problems. He did lose some raw explosiveness after the car accident but still played well in the CBA. Ronnie was 6'2" in shoes. If he had been 6'6" in shoes then he might have gotten a sniff at the NBA, beyond the Nets tryout. Now, if Ronnie had avoided the car accident then he would have been drafted into the NBA, maybe first round. Korleone Young was, but he was 6'6". And he didn't make it, but at least he cashed a few NBA checks. Maybe a non-car accident Ronnie could have stuck in the NBA for a while as a smaller version of Harold Miner. But maybe not. I did play against Ronnie in pick up games. He was a mighty NBA-level athlete. But he was very, very raw. It takes more than jumping power to make it in the NBA. But Ronnie was a sight to see in high school and on the local courts...

  • @IamUrHuckleberry11

    I never knew he even had an opportunity to go to college or that he played in league. I thought his sorry ended after HS. I'm glad you made this vid, gave me a bit more insight that I missed. I knew about Ronnie, just didn't know ALL of this. Btw, you're a fool for the "no respect from me, trying to secretly run a train on a chick. ." Comment. That had me dying. Not as much as your other comment on the Ball video, but it still had me dying. And facts btw, can not respect that either, if you're not upfront about your intentions with the female.

      @@TheBaller3213 Fields was fun to watch, and I had the pleasure of watching him dominate in H.S.., but if people really want to know what Fields would have ended up like with out the accident and charge, see Paul McPherson. I remember when he was putting up numbers in the CBA for the Rockford Lightning, the NBA scouts were saying he was a poor shooter who turned the ball over way too much to have a shot at the league.

      @@floydturner2957 that waa after PAUL was in the league and just got caught in bad trades and that incident in the club. He went to the league right after DEPAUL once he was out the league PAUL was back hanging out in the city not taking care of his body and he was not really focused when he was in the CBA. Paul was a natural slasher and scorer and was built like a tank. Ronnie could not of played 2G in the league and thats why they tried him at PG in yhe CBA but his feel and skill level for that position didn't work. His game stayed the same which was all athleticism he never worked on his weaknesses and therefore couldn't take the next step.

    Ronnie was more athletic but he was never better than Kobe. Kobe had more skill and just didnt have the developed body that fields had

    • @1300mikehoward
      @1300mikehoward 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Kobe was a student of the game with a professional's professional mentality. Fields had natural talent with a teenagers mentality. Chasing girls infatuated by the local fame and lifestyle while kobe chose basketball over everything including girls like a normal youth phemon. Well the out come speaks for itself, Kobe made the league, multi all star and champion while Fields fell short due to his self inflicted recklessness.
