@@jay-rus4437 hmm I’ve always had better voices on batc it seems si has not added new voices in month while batc adds them every other patch or so and most if not all regions are covered now. Then again I only use premium on batc…
If you load the Simbrief FP into the world map so atc can follow it, it's not really that bad, else it gets lost and confused easily! At least in 2020, haven't tried 2024 yet! BATC though I agree is the best. The one issue I have is there seems to be an issue when used with Lossless Scaling. For some reason it doesn't close the mic for an inordinate amount of time when LS is active. I think it's a timing issue, as BATC tracks the aircraft graphically in the GUI for taxi. The extra frames LS adds I think causes BATC to miss it's queue!
Overall I really dont like messing with various addons and apps, but have really been trying to spend some time with BATC. Have my own reasons, but looking for a good replacement for SI. Believe that the new announcement and upcoming improvements are huge.
I fly Say Intentions a lot. As in real life you have to sometimes request your descent as the pilot you have a better idea when that is required. It runs less on rails and is very flexible. It is improving day on day as more airport taxi routes are fine tuned. Also the progressive taxi feature is very helpful. BATC is also very good, it’s more scripted, you can actually predict what it’s going to do. I have both, but prefer the former.
You should compare VFR flights, AI Cabin crews, AI Mentors, AI Tourguides, AI Co-pilots, Taxi arrows, Multiplayer, Emergency handling and ACARS/CPDLC features head to head as well 😉
@@SayIntentionsAI you might have a fantastic product in some ways but the cost is so prohibitive that it’s completely irrelevant to me. one day, if the cost is far more reasonable, it might be on my radar.
@goalski134 We use modern LLM AI's, among 19 other services to bring the most authentic flight experience possible. These services cost quite a bit of money every single transmission. All of your reviews seem based on a tubeliner from major airport A to major airport B. I have BATC, and VFR is non existent, departures/arrivals from uncontrolled airports leaves a lot to be desired. I'm planning on picking up SI to see how it suits me for that type of flying, but hopefully BATC fully fleshes out that part of the ATC experience.
I challenge any of these atc addons to fly a ifr from uncontrolled airport. Not gonna happen. Flight following, vfr on top, vector sids, tec routes, yeah right.
I was thinking about getting an Xbox s just for this game do they have ATC online that's more authentic with the Xbox series in Microsoft flight simulator?
BATC can in fact be used in career mode. You have to accept you will get penalized but you still end up with an A or S rating not using the default ATC
i am a starter on the flight sim world, but 2024 with is career mode is appealing me more than previous sims. i been keeping an eye on BATC and im waiting for them to add the traffic injection tool that will make airplanes take the correct taxiways and gates assigned as in real life airports. for now, im just getting used to the game itself, but already considering getting a yoke system. tried an option with a driving wheel as yoke, but doesnt work the way i expected. i always have to counter turn to level back the plane. i was expecting that the plane would level itself when i center wheel, but since it doesnt and i have to turn the opposite way to level the plane, it makes the experience worse. if i manage to get around this without a yoke, i will be happy using the wheel for roll and joystick for pitch, seems easier to control than using roll on joystick (or i might to set it up better somehow).
That is how real planes work. When you enter a turn you actually have to rotate the control column or stick slighty in the opposite direction from the turn to maintain the bank angle and then even more in the opposite direction to roll back to level flight. This also has to be coordinated with the rudder inputs to prevent adverse yaw. In steeper turns you also have to apply a little back pressure. (Note that FBW aircraft such as Airbus behave somewhat different. RW Pilot.
In sim ATC is still a joke. RW pilot and IGI. A few preferred complete rnav routes for airliners might be ok, but all the other vfr, tec routes, vector sids, hybrid sids, are way off. Recommend use vatsim, ivao, or pilotedge.
Those of us on Xbox are just out of luck. They couldn’t be bothered to fix the ATC in 2020 for 4 years, so no reason to think they will ever fix 2024 either. My ATC menu just stops working at all as soon as I get handed off to center. 2024 is the biggest let down in sim history. Even worse than MSFS 2000.
Ha default ATC?? Still a mess not to mention the live traffic which is much worse than 2020. BATC with its traffic I think will win out and will really be good
I agree that BATC is the best choice. It does perform for me very well on taxing and vectoring. I think the issue with the ATIS is that they use Active Sky. I gave up on SI as I can't see paying 194.00 a year and it hasn't improved very much lately. Vatsim is the way to go, but the coverage is still an issue, and don't get me started on the default ATC.
Sorry, but you have no idea what you are talking about. Beyond is 100% scripted. That´s the same stuff we had for years, the only new twist is an AI for speech to text, so you can speak your inputs, instead of clicking a line as it was in FSX. You can´t divert from procedure the slightest bit, try to call in an emergency, or try to communicate with ATC beside the scripted part and you will get only different variants of "I don´t understand", because it doesn´t. You are completely free to do and say whatever you want in Say Intentions, contrary to Beyond everything in Say Intentions is AI-driven, there is no script you could leave. I´ve used Beyond for a year, meanwhile i completely switched to Say Intentions as it is simply better in every regard, Say Intentions is in its own league. And yes, it does cost a monthly fee, but this fee is not more expensive than what I paid for the premium voices with Beyond.

@@I_Evo Yeah, let´s wait for it to work, now they only announce it, while in Say Intentions it´s already working. Also, even if they make it work, I doubt it will be financially feasible.
