This King and his family represent the dirtiest and shameless nation in the World who poisoned the Chinese people with opium by force, and thereby destroyed the health, lives and souls of countless innocent Chinese people. Nothing else is more inhuman than what this nation had done with the drug.

      Have to agree.
2 billion is not much money. Ireland sends a billion to so called developing countries and spends as much at home welcoming as many as can come from the 4 corners of the world.
Still having homelessness, housing shortage. Health system struggling, drugs, taxes, seemingly full employment but still a big presence of obviously healthy looking people wandering at leisure .... Maybe Working from Home??? Hard to quantify
Anyway... The working population is experiencing the same problems without a monarchy as UK is with one

The Royal military guards and bands put on a amazing display and are active men and women serving their country. Who would pay to see a Grey uninteresting politician. Great Britain unbelievable rich, royal history is what gives ordinary people pride and who they are Royal. The Royal family are far more stable and pleasent to look at than any politician. That's why chess has been mass produced so almost anyone can have an 8x8 checkerboard and 32 basic chess pieces. Then, competitive chess came into play. See but the issue with that argument (being born into high positions) stems from its excessive simplicity inevitably and entirely leaving out that having a person born into a family that has ruled for generations, go through the best education the UK has to offer, socialising with other families that have ruled for generations - as well as other world leaders - surrounded by the finest things (which has a positively profound effect on the psyche, by the way) all the while being noble (noble, mind you, merely referring to set a characteristics so embedded within the subconscious that it becomes second nature), the nature of titles subconsciously alluring one to wonder about its, and subsequently the entire nation's, history, etc. etc.

Also, when the British monarchy gets abolished, the British Empire will ultimately die. The British Empire is barely hanging onto his health after the World Wars and decolonization and given the fact that Queen Elizabeth II didn't do anything to save the British Empire. The British monarchy is the only source that keeps the British Empire from dying. After the monarchy gets abolished, Scotland will instantly gain its independence, and quite possibly Wales. Northern Ireland will be united with Ireland. Furthermore, each of the British Overseas Territories will claim their independences one by one or become terra nullis depending on indigenous population, and the Commonwealth Realms will become republics. After that, the new Republic of England will barely have any power compared to other countries, will lose quite a bit of population, and it can spark a wave of communism in Europe, as the UK is one of the key countries that support capitalism, along with Germany, France, Italy, and other strong EU states. With such a great reduction of power, England would no longer keep its legacy of not being invaded for long, as eventually, it could collapse into smaller states with even less power. The saddest part is that the British Empire would never get a chance to unite with Brittany, so Great Britain would never have a chance to unite with Little Britain before its death by monarchy abolition.

To then have Camilla as Queen in any form just doesn’t sit right to me. It doesn’t matter what we think or our opinions they both will be crowned. Let be rational how much do they impact on our lives anyway.

    Abolish the monarchy

    • @AlbertTheGamer-gk7sn
      @AlbertTheGamer-gk7sn ปีที่แล้ว

The reason why chess has grown in popularity and commoners being allowed to play chess is the lack of monarchies. Also, we want to continue remembering the monarchies and wars in the past, so we will play chess. If you want the kings and queens out of every country, you can let the world unite into one big republican country, so you can also drive wars, disputes, and any type of conflict over tradition, culture, religion, etc. out of the world.

Bit by bit we are tearing down great British Institutions. Our Country for a number of reasons has lost its identity. We are shamed to be proud of our Country and even called racists if we display our flag with pride. Immigration has caused a big part of this by diluting our population. Certain political persuasions are also responsible. I live in a Housing association house and was warned NOT to fly MY Country`s flag from the balcony in fear it may upset peoples Cultures and religions. We have become a Nation who is often reminded of our Colonial past and our Involvement in Slavery and that we should be sorry for our part in things that happened 100`s of years ago. The British Royal Family is like a figurehead for the UK and people with an anti-Monarchy agenda want it removed because they believe that the RF stands for everything they do not like. Unfortunately these people have the loudest voices and can be quite persuasive using the Internet/ Social media to spread their Ideals. I think that it is sad that we are no longer proud of of our County and our Monarchy. I also think its sad that people should feel guilty and ashamed about this Country. Look at how many people who are illegally and Legally trying to live here. Is not that a great big advert that this Country is a great place to live. They talk about the cost. Immigration/Asylum costs per annum = THREE BILLION. The RF draws 86.4 million. Immigration/Asylum costs Vs The cost of the RF which is 0.023255814% compared. The RF contributed 1.77 BILLION towards the UK economy. But it aint all about the money right.

Literally why? It just sounds like your fundamentally biased and don't want to actually attempt to rationalise or see the benefits of the system of a Constitutional Monarchy.
Even the founding father of America knew that democracy was a fundamentally deeply flawed system, hence why they modelled it after the UK and introduced a bunch of safeguards.
See the issue with that argument (being born into high positions) stems from its excessive simplicity inevitably and entirely leaving out that having a person born into a family that has ruled for generations, go through the best education the UK has to offer, socialising with other families that have ruled for generations - as well as other world leaders - surrounded by the finest things (which has a positively profound effect on the psyche, by the way), whilst being noble (noble, mind you, merely referring to set a characteristics so embedded within the subconscious that it becomes second nature), the nature of titles subconsciously alluring one to wonder about its, and subsequently the entire nation's, history, etc. etc.
Democracy isn't a one-stop shop solution to your problems because it's hardly a solution at all. Need I remind you that our current cost for living crisis was caused by our elected morons? What of the most powerful man on the planet? Joe Biden? Wasn't he elected?
Just compare the House of Lords to the House of Commons and see what I mean. One house is barbaric, immature, barely gets on with anything; the other is respecting, respectable (at least it was, before we removed most of the hereditaries), knowledgeable, insightful etc.

Sadly, when the British monarchy gets abolished, the British Empire will ultimately die.

Not really. Ours is a politician's monarchy - the power it gives them is what makes them so appallingly sycophantic toward the institution. We need a head of state independent of the prime minister, able to act as a referee when the PM for example illegally prorogues parliament. A proper representative of the people, not a representative of the elite.
