I didn't see B1 ( thiamine ) thiamine treat heart failure so does magnesium, which was the cause of it in the first place. High dose Intravenous 1000mg to 1500mg for 4 days than 100mg oral dose daily .Reasearch Pubmed about this treatment
@partdeux992 because magnesium calms the heart it's one of the 4 electrolytes along with potassium calcium and sodium if your electrolytes are out of sync you can end up with a heart rhythm disturbance, and if you are lacking in b vitamins you can end up with beri beri disease which effects the heart and cardiovascular system. I have "Afib" and use vitamins and minerals to help my heart
If one has edema, both ankles, but that's the only symptom, could that still be heart failure? Everything else is perfect: Blood pressure excellent, beats per minute nearly that of an athlete, no shortness of breath, no trouble during sleep and can exercise for 3 to 4 hours no problem. Never tired either.
