Thanks for posting the video, knowing where to put the sealant was the missing piece I needed! I'd love to see a more in-depth breakdown of the motor and resources for replacement parts - nylon gears, an exploded schematic of the motor with part numbers, grease, how to use a motor tester, that sort of thing. Thanks again!

3:30 the torx screws are set in with lock tite, so they will definitively strip unless you have a very well seated bit. I had to use a torx driver and lean real hard while twisting with slip pliers on the driver's handle. Managed to break the lock lite, then the removal was pretty straight forward. The kit needs to include replacement torx screws, I lost two, and had to find a way to force them out without damaging the hub. Also, later on when knocking out the hub with 'gentle' tapping was challenged for that too, when reassembling the unit, they require you to use silicon sealant, which makes a tight seal all around the unit. Once cured, the sealant is gluing the two assemblies together. I'm thinking the video was staged t make it look too easy. Maybe a real user could video the real world experience.

Thanks good to know it's that easy. I just got my Gemini X last week. How many miles is average replacement time for one of these motor cores?

The lifespan of an electric bike motor cores depending on usage and maintenance. Typically, a well-maintained motor can last for several years, but the specific duration for replacing a motor depends on usage frequency and maintenance. It's advisable to replace the motor when it exhibits the signs mentioned at the beginning of the video. Thank you for choosing fucare.

By the way the pedals and front hub bearing adjustments are always too tight. I was a bike mechanic/shop owner for 35 years, these two adjustments are easily adjusted and decrease wear issues tremendously

Good video, refreshing to have a video like this from Fucare but... Those little blue snips that Fucare includes with each bike are NOT water pump pliers! Channel Lock type adjustable pliers are water pump pliers. Those snips are snips! Water pump pliers... Lol

My Taurus has started making really bad grinding noises when accelerating under load. Do you think my motor needs replacing? It is only 3 months old and has 525km on it.
