Sean Sutter really is the absolute best. His product is high quality and you can tell he really cares about everything. He does in fact put that illustration in everything. Even though it is a one man company, his game has more features than games released by people with full teams. He will always have my support.

Thanks for reviewing the game my man! I'm so stoked that you enjoyed it. Relicblade is nearing and dear to me and there is a lot of great stuff to come. It's a great game to play against yourself solo, because of the alternate activation and the way you resolve actions, it's really fun to play against yourself. And for narrative campaigns, you've got the Volgelands book to peep for two great examples of how narrative campaigns could play out. With the heroic traits and the injuries now.. the campaign system is better than ever before!

Looks great. I’m in! Edit: It looks like you can buy the faction card sets and then proxy plastic minis if the metal minis is a deal breaker. Would be worth confirming, but that’s what it looks like after a quick view of the shop.

Joel, how important is terrain? Do I need to get a bunch of terrain in order to enjoy this game? I guess I’m wondering if there is a lot of hopping over walls or climbing buildings etc.
That's kind of up to you actually. I don't think it needs an extraordinary amount, but a good cluster is fine. You only have to fill a 2x2 area so it goes a long way.

It looks fantastic. I really like how you can equipment and such using cards. That and the art reminds me of runewars which I have a ton of! I’ll need to check out the website to see if I can get cards only for certain factions.
