Great video. Just ordered the starter box, rules, and solo/coop box. I also started printing my terrain. I can’t wait to get this in the mail.

Relicblade is THE game to pick up if you feel a bit exhausted and tired of painting. Painting these sculpts are the what rekindled my joy of painting miniatures. They are all characters, not overly detailed as you said. They are FUN to paint. You need 4 or 5 to play a game, so you will get that completly painted feel very quickly, and then you can add to it. You can mix faction sets and characters! Just stay within good or evil (advocate or adversary) or sprinkle in some neutrals!
I cant recommend this game enough. Ive obsessed over it for a year now, and its the first game Ive finished several campaigns!

The Storm of Kural campaign book contains the quick star rules so you can get playing straight away. The quick start rules are also available online for free 🤘

What would be another way to promote games like this more accessible, would be to have all official models and terrain pieces available as digital files for purchase. I have looked around, but the studio only seems to sell physical models. Shame really. I would have liked to get into the game, but not having access to 3D files for *everything* made me decide not to give it a go.

With a tiny business like MKS I think you have to consider if the business model is sustainable. If fully printable doesn't math out for them in a way that allows the studio to keep running and the game to keep going, it's hard to blame them for being mostly physical.

@@TesseractMinis I can see the point you are making. I feel however that 3D printing games at home (including manuals, miniatures and accessories) is going to be an ever growing and major part of the industry going forward.
3D printers become more accessible and easier to use.
Early adopters of this distribution method will most likely stand out and create customer loyalty, which can only benefit small producers.
I am not saying this should be the *only* way of distributing games, but that it is a viable alternative for those who own 3D printers and are happy to pay for the STL files and print them at home.
It is an additional distribution channel and I don't think it is coincidence that companies like Mantic start to use this channel. So why not a small company too? That does not stop them from producing physical models and distributing them through traditionnal channels, but potentially grows the customer base.
I for one will not buy any more physical models for the time being, unless they are miniatures I *absolutely* want for some reason. My physical and digital pile of opportunity is big enough as is.
