      Haha, agar youtube/facebook comments read karke car kharidte hai to aaj indian roads will be full of tata altroz . But reality is that tata cars are most preffered car in youtube only. If someone is investing 8/9 lakhs then first that person will talk to some friends who own cars and has experience then visit showroom and test drive. And then purchase. Isiliye tata ka gari etna dikhta nahi hai kyunki jo lene wala hota hai wo soch samaj ke leta hai. Comments me tata accha hai bolne se nahi hota hai

    Although, i-Turbo has severely improved the acceleration of Altroz petrol
    But instead of Turbo petrol, it could've got a higher state of tune for the diesel engine with 110ps 260Nm 6 Speed Manual

      Point is not that. Point is buy tata be real indian and we need to be self reliant in the maximum possiblity. We need to understand buying rolls royce, mercedees like cars is a total waste. Because we give money to foreigners. We cannot produce oil it is naturally occuring and we cannot instantly become self reliant but we can choose tata over foreign cars. I have tata altroz and im proud.

Then i went to Ford their staff was on another level had good experience from them and ended up buying ecosport. Then tell did i do anything wrong?

    Motorbeam has done a mosse test (i.e handling test) which is very rare in India. This is what an automobile journalism should be. Instead of saying features and tech, they should do drag race, in gear acceleration and handling. Keep it up Motorbeam. Next time in your, include handling test or mosse test in all cars including SUVs to check their handling. Excellent job Motorbeam 👏 👍.

      Moose test where ? I could see a they did a Slalom at slow speed.Moose test involves a lane change at a reasonably high speed. Watch km77 channel to see how it is done.

But can't tell about altroz though as Tatas has JLR a European with them... ALFA platform has a significant help from JLR team...

      @Aditya Singhai let me tell you things in detail. Currently altroz only comes in manual as altroz's bay is too small for automatic transmission. And tata is currently testing dual clutch 7 speed transmission which will make its debut on next generation of altroz and the new tata hbx will also launch with dct from day 1.

    In acceleration test, Altroz reaches 60 in 5.9 sec and i20 in 5.3 (65 at 5.9)
    I think, this acceleration difference made i20 fail the breaking test. The speed it gained was more, so distance to stop could be more as well.

    i20 is the better car as a package but altroz is value for money if u can live with tata's renowned After sales services !! And one thing i have noticed after owning Tiago for 4 years is despite good built quality Tata cars don't age well as in small problems keep on proping up paint quality is not good , dashboard rattles etc etc!!

    Well..I'll choose Tata Altroz, anyday over i20.. although I already have a car..but Tata cars have really improved a lot..apart from its best raw materials now it's even great in the design, engine & handling aspect..abhi mere ghar k samne me hi 2 Altroz new li ha..dekh kr bas lalach aa rha ha..

    Yes Altroz is better in all terms.. The only thing Altroz is lacking behind is reliability. Sad to say it but a noticeable number of Altroz owners are facing many issues.. It would be nice if these reviewers cover those points as well.. And make the manufacturer's to produce their best in the first lot itself..

    I have driven tata altroz iturbo and i20 naturally aspirated. I feel tata altroz is better in handling and comfort. Hence better in long drives.

      @@lesstoxic5619 Dct is faster in shifts done in a linear manner..But when you will accelerate hard in dct then it takes it time to shift..That's why manual will accelerate faster then dct..Try to get some basic knowledge dude..You made my point only at the end..You can check any car in manual and there automatic variants..Manuals are quicker..

    I don't know much about drivability aur any brake feel and all because i driven many cars but I've been a passenger in a lots of vehicles and i cannot stress more on the fact how planted and stable tata cars are and how well they filter through undulations even on a triple digit speed it stays rock solid

    i 20 has more width and lower ground clearance that makes it more stable and it does not roll on curves. I guess rest depends on who is driving. I have driven both the cars and after a lot of tests driving them as an engineer and an auto enthusiasts. Except for the price i20 was the best and eventually bought it. But my second option after i20 was and will always be Tata Altroz.

      Now chance I 20 is lighter then altroz it can easily loss traction as compare to altroz only low slung doesn't play role in stability at high speeds the car which is will be heavier that will be gud at handling at high speeds

      @@sagarkhadse8588 if an car has only handling with not so great engine then no use we will not get that driving experience..Engine comes first..I will tell you an small example first gen Honda city typez is famous only in engine where as Ford fiesta 1.6s is famous only in handling but Honda city is more famous and have huge cult following than fiesta 1.6s because of what? Only due to engine..engine alone is an huge differentiater. I hope you understand.
