- Lebanon is intensifying a crackdown on Syrian migrants and refugees.
Human rights groups are accusing authorities of imposing restrictive measures to force them to return home.
But the government says it's unable to host the soaring numbers, because of the country's worsening economic crisis.
Al Jazeera’s Zeina Khodr reports from Beirut.

Most of the Muslim world dislike the government of Lebanon for differing reasons. Most the Shias of the Muslim world dislike the Lebanese government cause they view it as a puppet government of the Americans. Most of the Sunnis of the Muslim world dislike the Lebanese government because they view it as cozying up to Iran.

I fail to understand: why should Lebanon bear the burden of 2 million Syrians when the government in Damascus isn’t willing to do so?
The gov of Lebanon holds the obligation to safeguard human rights of the refugess they allowed into the country. Do not offer help when you yourself is starving then blame those who you offered to help when they ask you to uphold your promises and obligations.

We have many Syrians in Egypt, no problems no troubles they are very good at running businesses and give very good customer service, polite people .many neighborhoods were ghost towns and Syrians didn't shy out of opening businesses turning dull streets into shopping centers

Did you know that if a couple of Jordanian citizens adopts a Japanese child born in the year 2020 in Tokyo. That child is counted by UNRWA as a Palestinian refugee who fled Israel in 1948. Tax payers around the world will pay for his healthcare education a feed him. I wanted to write until the day he dies, but it won't end there. His children grandchildren and so on until the end of times will also become refugees from a country they never visited.

Just in case you don't know, Hezbollah has played a huge role in the Syrian Conflict over the last 13 years by killing children, women & old people, bombing, displacing millions of Syrians devastating big cities in Syria. Hezbollah still has control over big areas, & those cities are where those refugees in Lebanon lived before the Syrian conflict. Can you just tell me how Lebanon would not be affected by all of this? The Syrian refugees are just a consequence of what Hezbollah has done & still doing! Those refugees had their own houses & lives, but they lost all of that due to the war.
