I work for a theater company. Being a dresser has actually been statistically proven to have similar stress levels as being a police officer or a firefighter. To be able to think clearly in a high-stress situation is a TALENT, to be able to communicate well to distracted people is a SKILL, and to constantly be meeting and befriending famous professionals, as this dresser does, is exciting!! VERY difficult but rewarding line of work.
LOVE this video. So interesting to see a day in the life of a dresser, Un sung Hero!! Without Dressers, the show simply wont go on! Or it would but would be a shambles!

What kind of training do you need to do this job? I'm a seamstress, does that help? I never worked with costumes tho, only fixing and making normal clothes. This is my dream job even though I would get very anxious during those quick changes!
Did you ever get an answer? I’d love to know as well
What is the music called at the end?
Next step you could be a designer
