I remember crying when I was a kid because I couldn't beat this game lol.... I'm 36 now and it wasn't until I was about 25 years old when i bought my ps3 with the old vintage sega games that me and my brother finally beat altered beast 🤣..... You would have sworn that we were 9 and 11 years old again the joy on our faces and self accomplishment....ended up beating Alex the kidd a week later, again, joyous like I was a kid again lmao
Is it the same on the ps3 as the classic one like this? Alot of times I played classics and soundtracks and things were changed. What disc is that? I deff wanna get it, thanks bro and glad you got too trip down Nostalgia lane
@@naphtali4926 Yes it was the exact same game game from Sega..... We're going back like 10 or 11 years here it's here so I don't remember the name of the CD But it was something like Sega classics or something that I bought from Best Buy
**Pro tip** To get the perfect catch bonus after defeating the stage bosses just hold up on your Directional pad and you'll get the bonus whether you catch it in mid air or not 🗝
I can't remember the exact trick to do it, since I haven't done it in about 30 years, due you can jump off the top of those ice ramps and plunge the full length down to the worm boss instantly without damage.

Man! I beat this back when I was 7 years old, only to find out in my young adult 20s that these are one of the hardest game series of all time.

I beat this game on SNES at age 19 after about 1,000 tries. Got a genesis mini a few years ago and still trying to beat it
