Excellent video content! Sorry for chiming in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you researched - Schallingora Family Friendship Scheme (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is an awesome one off product for revealing some simple military style self defence techniques to protect your family without the headache. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my close friend Aubrey got amazing success with it.
Another good video.... we use the leg in a similar way in southern mantis kung fu... we even condition shins so we can press against opponents and they fall back. Also many pressure points on the leg and foot. Thanks again boss man 🙏🏻
Well done, as usual! I liked the flow leading up to the rear sweep. Good opportunity for shin kick to groin as a variation to oblique heel stomp to inside of knee. Good information! I enjoy following your feed.
Some of your vids make me remember back in rhe day. I had an instructor who would always use students who didnt flinch to demo techniques to the class. It took 2 years before I realised if I flinch he wouldnt throw me around so much. So next class I flinched while practicing and had a begginer punch me in the nose. Still had to get thrown around in front of everyone since the teacher new exactly what I was doing. Lesson learned.
I was a nightclub bouncer for 10 years, and mostly agree with everything in this vid. I would however caution on using the kick shown as it can easily throw you off balance. riskier moves are best used by more experienced fighters all in all I think I might learn something from this channel
Hey I need help with self doubt because everytime I would think when I go in to a fight I would lose mainly because I think I'm not perfect enough and I also do karate kung fu as well
Very good stuff. But very difficult for a man who is shorter in stature to overcome a much taller assailant with this. I love to see some with this scenario.
Jiu jitsu &or wrestling i actually think jiu jitsu would pair very well with wing chun traditional japanese jj or judo. Being short has as many pros as it does cons. Smaller means lower center of gravity harder to off balance easier to off balance taller guy from under/inside position. Shorter has more powerful round strikes tighter circle. Understanding where/how/when someone puts their weight and why is one of the strongest advantages in MA striking and grappling. Make a small circle just big enough for 2 to stand in both try pushing each other out. Pay attention to when weight is forward back on left or right leg much harder for taller to move short the slightest push pull tension slack when taller shift and they fall. With kicks if u want to damage leg kick when weight is on it if you want them to fall just before they place their weight. When someone strikes 90% of their weight is on 1 foot opposite of the attack ( example a Rcross weight shifts to left foot Lhook shifts back right) if you kick the load bearing foot out down they go thais are masters at this. (I get excited & ramble but i love MA) smaller = much harder to hit but you has to be comfortable with erasing the distance which is not instinct. Strikes need space once you're comfortable u can feel them start to shift weight before they even start the strike its why DC's dirty boxing/wrestling is strong
Great video, but i have question - how to defend my body structure if someone wants fast to make me fall to the ground. Many struggles come down to this, how to defend against overthrow ? Regards :D
Thanks Dr for another great video. My personal favourite technique (which I've used sucessfully in a few situation) is forcefully stepping on the foot while exploding my body against the assailant, causing him to fall. I feel this option is quite overlooked in realistic self defense. Your insight on this would definitely be invaluable Dr. Thanks again.
in case of any 1 dumb enough to attack Sifu Mark.. start laughing. there will be a comedy show And the floor will be wiped clean with some Fool's Face..
I love all your videos and what you do but I find nobody can absorb all of those videos without training it drilling it many times. Also I think you need a partner who can give you both a non-combative attitude and a combative attitude so you can drill both sides. But I think to absorb it you're going to have to cut it up and bits and pieces because it's going to be a difficult to gain all of these techniques in a short time. Also he mixes many martial arts and not just wing chun. I believe that to be able to do all of these things you're going to have to look into two things going to a Krav Maga or a JKD gym. Or an MMA.
This is fully realistic, but it is a drill intended to show what to do if your opponent got his arms locked. If the arms were not locked, it would have been quite a different drill. Mark also teaches boxing and jiu-jitsu, so trust me - he knows how to strike (hands/legs/poles/spears/knives/anything) :) I wouldn't expect a good boxer to allow his hands being locked nor I would expect him to protect his knees. But that would have been a very different drill altogether.
@@ralnasaredevi9847 Running is a very good choice. But sometimes you can't run. For example I couldn't run when a huge drunk idiot attacked my father. I think in some previous videos Mark had advised running away too.
I love how you teach in real life areas or settings rather than in a dojo the visualization really helps the process the situation
Thank you sir 👍🙏👌🌟
I always use run-fu. Never failed me.

I love your craft! Kids who are getting bullied and jumped, I hope they're watching and learning from you. 🤘💪
This is probably the best video you’ve ever done, Mark! Thanks for making this video!
You have great demeanor: Needed to stay calm in a fight. Thank you for these videos.
Awesome skill

Just saying if you think after watching this video you think you can throw a perfect leg kick (You are wrong) practice practice practice.
Yes anyone can do. Very good❗️
thanks for the tips... need all I can learn before a street fight!

Really nice moves there
Absolutely true and practical. This will finish a fight quickly without relying on pure brute strength. Great video.

Love your videos it’s not that movie stunt karate but real self defense
You guys dress well and teach great !
Thank you for sharing this with us. Leg kicks and foot stomps are under-rated these days imho. #FIGHTBOSS
Another great video! Not pretty but realistic and will give you an edge in real fight!
Good idea
I want to travel to London just to learn from this guy
Superb
Thank you.

Look up takedown defense in mma or bjj plenty of good videos
What is an effective way to stop the hockey punch? Stiff left hand grabbing shirt, right hand punching.

So glad youre one of the good guys!;)
_I appreciate if you can MAKE an analysis from DOG ATTACK_
Too much echo in the background, but thanks for providing content at all times
We can and remove it. Thanks for watching.
This is Wing-Chun?! Hmmmm... I do agree that if you control the head, you basically control the rest of his body.
Don't forget you can shoulder rip, you know the Jon Jones arm pull...
Feel pity for his partner
I like how the guy fixed his hair after the first move though. Looking good is never wrong :-)
@@peaceonearth8693 yeah he needs to look good in the video

Kind of the point of the video... it's a tutorial
