How to Fight [DEFEND] When HEAD is Pulled Down in Street Fight

  • How to Fight & Defend Against Your Head Being Pulled Down in a Street Fight. First half of the video we look at why this attack is dangerous. How effective it is to learn to fight. Second half we look at how to defend yourself against someone grabbing and pulling your head.
It’s highly effective, but we suggest that you practice how to fight with a good training partner or get some proper instruction. As well as good training partners to practice to develop a good fight game for the street.
This is only for Self Defence. Please don’t use this fighting technique against an innocent victim. This is only for you to defend yourself in a fight.
Remember there is more to learning how to fight. You must learn how to punch, how to move well if you want to end a fight quickly. Better yet learn a martial art, or a good form of self defence, and most importantly build your fitness. After all, if all fails then you can run very fast from any fight.
We have lots more videos on how to fight with Wing Chun. Please visit our channel. Better yet feel free to leave a comment or a suggestion of what you would like us to film for you. It does not have to be about Wing Chun it can be about any subject related to fighting, how to fight, Wing Chun techniques, or even Wing Chun vs other styles of martial arts. We are happy to pass on our knowledge and experience free of charge.

Great tips man. In line with muay thai and bareknuckle. Easier to keep posture than regain it. For self defense I also like the duck under to the back too because most people dont put their elbow down on their collar tie.

Duck under is a good one, especially for clinching the back. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

"I think you should subscribe" "I WILL, I WILL PLEASE DONT KILL ME!!!" xD lol brilliant, at least George finally got some time off to recover though!! Nice counter to the head pull/clinch though, I think this ones worse for people with long hair and most women, they usually tend to end up in fights where people use hair grabs a lot. Thanks again guys!! :D

    Another great video Sifu Mark!
One thing i'd be interested in seeing involves a bit of scenario.
If someone pulls out in front of you you might blast your horn. What do you do if they road rage, get out of the car and try and punch you through an open window or manage to open the car door.
Your seated and restrained by a seatbelt.
What is the best way to defend to get you that second to get away? Particularly if someone is punching through the open car window? I'd guess bong sau?

Judging only on visual information of the video, the blond guy was the attacker, no doubt about it. It is obvious from at least one simple visual fact. He had at one point a clear choice how to end this situation. He could just have walked away through the door and out of the elevator and that would be it. The other three didn't try to stop him or make any other actions in anyways to prevent that. Instead he choose the other option. He turned around and attacked them.

This is good advice but you'll never know how to fight, if you don't actually fight! There's a lot more going on, you have to know how to breathe, know to keep your calm even in a fight, know how to control distance and aaaaa lot more, can't learn that on the internet.

Like to comment on your valuable teachings through the videos!!
Am trying to practice all of your new techniques. But some one told me I can't catch the actual spirit of the fight Technics till our tutor has to grant his Blessing to their students with the spiritual teachings too. which the master has to shower towards their students so that his student's every movement will become a Victory. Is that right!?? Please reply Thanks

Is it fair to say, that violently jutting the hips forwards is also the opportunity to put the knee in?
In my humble opinion it's really bad for the person to grapple while standing because, they are wide open for a seriously damaging counter.. especially if you use a non-lethal weapon.. tactical pen, for example.
I typically carry 2 such pens, one attached in each trouser pocket.

Regarding keeping your posture up; there is apparently a ridiculous test that supposedly women can do but men can't - which is to be able to lift up a chair from a particular bent over postore - starting position of your legs straight and feet together, with your back straight and your upper body bent over at the hips and facing parallel to the floor, with the chair beneath you. The explanation given as to why women find this easy and men find it difficult is suppose to be due to women having a lower centre of gravity. Which is true. Despite apparently many guys finding this task difficult. Guys should actually be easily be able to do it - it just means they are out of shape if they can't. Which is even more bizarre that apparently many women do find this task easy - probably because women are often cleaning ect in this bent over posture and so have stronger backs as a result. While some lazy arse guy with a weak back struggles.

    • @IntrebuloN
      @IntrebuloN 5 ปีที่แล้ว

Chris Walker I believe the reason for this is that women have proportionally smaller torsos. If you take a man and woman of equal height, the man will have a longer and heavier torso relative to the woman. Basically, about 60% of the man's weight and height (he will be heavier if they're the same height) is in his upper body, with 40% below the waist. The woman will have only 40% of her already lighter overall weight in her upper body.
In the position you describe, the male would be holding up more weight at a further point from the fulcrum (hips). This requires a great deal more strength to manage, before you even add the task of the chair lift. I would guesstimate that the male is holding up 60-100% more weight with his back than the woman in the same position.
TL;DR I think the difference is a simple matter of physics, and not any special ability on the part of the women.
