- Maruti Suzuki has launched the S-Cross petrol. The basic package of the car doesn’t see much of a change but it drops its famed diesel engine for a petrol. The 1.5 litre petrol engine comes with a mild hybrid system as standard and is offered with the manual and automatic transmissions. Features of the S-Cross include LED projector headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels, a touchscreen infotainment system and auto AC.
The Maruti S Cross is offered with a Petrol Engine of 1462 cc. Maruti Suzuki S Cross Petrol is a 5 seater crossover SUV and has a length of 4300, width of 1785 and a wheelbase of 2600.

Yes maruthi suzuki s crosse is a all-round cross over. നല്ല ഒരു family car ആണ്. But സ്റ്റിൽ കുറച്ചു down sides ഉണ്ട് eg, interior കൊറച്ചുംകൂടി modern feel കൊടുക്കാമായിരുന്നു, bs6 model better interior expect ചെയ്തായിരുന്നു. 16 inch wheels പകരം 17 കൊടുത്താൽ നന്നായിരുന്നു . 4 wheel ഡ്രൈവിന്റെ ആവിശ്യം ഉണ്ടോ എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നില്ല . After all its family a cross over mainly എല്ലാവരും ഇതു city, highway usage ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന car അന്നെലോ, but still oru 4wheel drive system കൊടുത്തിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഒരു unique cross over ആയി മാറിയേനെ.
Scross and Spresso. May be it is resembling ‘Suzuki’. Both has its own value and position in its segment in the market. Scross is very good for long drives and nexa after sales service is excellent. Hope its new bs6 variant will keep up the same brand value.

Negative side ..1 old style,2 no rear ac vent,3 old automatic 4speed gearbox,4 cabin insulation, no diesel engine(1.6)Its very difficult to compare with hyundai and kia models.Next time suzuki should study the indian market,otherwise koreans leads the market

Am not much of a fan of too many features in a car, including sun roof , that find little use under Indian driving conditions and become niggling pains later on.
What I would have wished in new Scross was an updated instrument cluster, rear AC vent, a better auto-transmission and enhanced safety features of ESP, more airbags etc ( at least give a higher option) .
