These things look painfully late 90s. Everything, cars, clothing, tv, apparently tractors, all took on a pseudo sleek veneer in that era, and it aged like milk.
I agree. The aesthetics of the mid-late 90s do not hold up well.

By this point in Deutz history I've totally lost the thread. Simply too modern for me.

Yep. Now, in the modern age, Deutz tractors are once again the best you can buy quality wise, but there is not much distinction between them and any other modern brand, and they are often significantly more expensive, and here in the US, they have a much worse dealer network.
They made a mistake moving to the agrotron. The agrostar was just a much better tractor.
I agree. I enjoy the improved cab ergonomics, but not the exterior design, or the liquid cooled engines. Both of those are serious downgrades.
