42 year old me just listened to this song for the first time and was immediately brought back to the day when 21 year old me heard the song Fat Lip for the first time. This band has been a part of who I am for half of my lifetime. I can't even begin to find the words to express how grateful I am for the gifts given to me within their music.
I don't think it does, it reminds me more of does this look infected.. it's got elements of heavy here and there with the octave slides which was very similar. But I felt like it was similar something four year strong would put out. The ending is very screamo the way it ends

For 2 minutes and 47 Seconds I felt like I was transformed back to 1999/2000! The Boys are doing what they did best. Make us feel good and put a Smile on our faces.
It makes me so sad that this is the last album. But also, so happy that we get one last masterpiece before y'all have a well earned farewell. And this album has gotta be the perfect swansong, literally now a single track that's less than 10/10

Oh yes, back to the Chuck/SBM vibes, wasn't expecting a song like this tbh but it's great that they did at least one last punk rock song, I can see this getting a longer version for the concerts, would be a hell of a good bye if they play this as their last live song
23 years ago, I got blessed with being introduced to "Fat Lip" for the very first time. Twas also one - if not THE one - of my main introductions to the punk genre. Pop-punk has been a main staple into my musical DNA and bands like Sum 41, Relient K, New Found Glory and many more have proved to me over the last 2 1/2 decades why this has been damn near the number one genre that I've listened too. Thus being said, it's really sad that after this time, Sum 41 has announced their retirement and final goodbyes with this upcoming album (HeavenXHell - a double album). I've never had the opportunity to see these guys live and more than likely will never be able too. Hoping they make a stop in Milwaukee, Madison or Chicago this summer or later this year to witness these legends. If not, then bring on the next 23 years of amazing pop-punk! 🤙🏻🤘🏻
Banger! Two things I wish you guys did, #1 longer solos and #2 guitar bridges (if that's what their called). Even if some songs had them, I'd consider it a big win.

Even though it's false hope (because I've seen the length for each song already), I still want to hope anyway. As an example, I would have wanted them to do a song something like Masters Of Puppets length. That song is so kickass!!
