Thanks for sharing this. I actually have been searching for a solution to my Pimax 8kx making me sweat. One observation though, wouldn't it be better adding some sort of intake (holes, but I'm conscious of light) running the fan in reverse, so you are extracting warm air and replacing it with cooler air from outside the headset?
So i bought the 3d printed stuff and using the 25mm fan, but the air flow is just barely anything and definitely doesn't seem to out pace the heat of the pimax's screen. Any thoughts?
You can try a fan with higher voltage for greater throughput like a fan up to 12 volt - It works fine in my climate and needs. I also have 30mm size setups in the stl for bigger fans if needed .

Thanks! it is an old Thrustmaster F-16 cockpit that I bought in 97 and fully re-wired for DCS VR.
