Funny you say that, as I always thought animation/cinematics etc was a place riot fell behind its competitors. For example I think valorant > overwatch, but overwatch cinematics are just on another level compared to the valorant ones

Riot puts in more effort for a single trailer than Valve has done for the entire CS:GO game in last 7 years.

do you want them to add stuffs to already almost perfect game just to break things? CS GO just works. It takes time to add new content in a game like this, they took their time adding new maps like cobblestone or aztech. Its follower base is increasing instead. If it works, dont touch it. they dont make changes to maps like riot does. riot made changes to split 2 times, this is the difference and this isnt even thing on the same base lmao. yes, i like CS GO, played it for like 2-3 months. playing valo for 2 years. love both of them.

I can totally imagine a Scifi Story based on this, where the four different Variants Rival each other especially the Purple against the rest. Imagine this: They once peacefully lived together then some of them decide to attack other Worlds and conquer them, some of them disagree with that Philosophy and a Civil War breakes out between the four factions, and all the while they attack other Alien Worlds, the Factions disagreeing with the Attacks fight with the local Population against their former brethren.
Imma be honest that doesn't really makes sense... Cuz as we see in the trailer, they use humans (or living beings) as "FUEL" for their weapons.
Although I have thought of a way around this. Let's just say the green faction is the only one that uses humans or living beings as fuel, while the other factions use a sustainable/peaceful way of getting fuel such as solar energy or etc. But the green faction uses humans or living beings as fuel because it is more potent/powerful.

Where they could very easily have put more money into making short cutscenes that have dialogue, VA, music. And would put the sometimes very vague, animated shorts of each season or Act into more context. But no all we get is a cool animated video about a cosmetic item that has nothing to do with the story.
