An artifact known as the "Tablet of Order and Chaos" is shattered during a brief battle between Spider-Man and Mysterio, causing problems with multiple Marvel realities. Madame Web calls on four versions of Spider-Man from four realities to assist her in bringing the realities back into balance: the Amazing Spider-Man (Spider-Man's main incarnation), Spider-Man Noir (Spider-Man's 1930s incarnation), Spider-Man 2099 (Spider-Man's future incarnation) and Ultimate Spider-Man (Spider-Man's younger incarnation from an alternate present bonded with a black suit). Each Spider-Man easily gains their first tablet fragment and turns it over to Madame Web; however, she explains evildoers will be drawn to the power of the fragments like moths to a flame. "Why'd you have to go and jinx us?" Adding to the bad news, Mysterio has one of the fragments, which grants him the power of true magic.
As always we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to create a fluid cinematic experience.

Fun Fact: 2099 here is voiced by Dan Gilvezan, same guy who voiced Spider Man from Spider Man and his amazing friends in 1981, and Bumblebee in the original transformers.

Miguel seems to understand and emphasize with his enemies, especially Scorpion. Most heroes beat up bad buys and enjoy their pain.

Like, the og Spiderman series was amazing but if this game or other media at the time didn't show up and weren't good it might ve been possible we didn't even get movies and stuff

It takes out everything that made him so cool in the first place.
Miguel O'Hara was a smart ass in his personal life, but when he's Spider-Man he's more vicious and much more serious.

Spider-man Shattered Dimensions was an S-tier game

@@sieademation3386 it’s a different iteration of Spiderman 2099. Not every Spiderman will have the exact outfit, which I think the movie itself made that obvious. That’s like saying they got Tom Holland’s Spiderman costume wrong because it looks so different from Tobey’s Spiderman.

Well in the original comics he was kinda serious, that's what made him different from the present day Peter Parker is that he knows the serious the situation was.
Not to say that he didn't have his clever wit to one-up people in ether insults or humor, but he just doesn't do it as often as the original.
And besides, the writer for the Edge of Time game was the same guy who Created Spider-Man 2099, so he knows and understands the character better than anyone else.

He was edgy in the comics. I feel like that’s what made him different from Peter. Edge of Time is more accurate to his personality in the comics and honestly I prefer it over Shattered Dimensions.

As I am not quite familiar with the character of Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099 or even the TV show Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends that voice-actor Dan Gilvezan (who voiced Peter Parker/Spider-Man in that show) was a part of, it is still nice to have someone who has voiced Spider-Man before to be a part of this kind of project. However, there are 3 questions that should be answered from this universe: 1.) which of the 3 boss fights seemed to have been the hardest? 2.) were the Hobgoblin, Scorpion, & Doctor Octopus the right choice of villains? And 3.) if not, which other villains would have been more suitable to take on Spider-Man of 2099?
