I did blending with 1 over 2 before, dark color on bottom, light on top, it wasn’t that difficult actually, though I was super intimidated at first. Just takes longer to first outline all the half stitches with one color and then cover them with the second. The result was really good. So it might worth trying a thread or two. Just a suggestion ❤
Thank you for this, I will definitely give it a go. I haven’t touched the project since I started it so if that’s not a sign I need to change my approach I don’t know what is!
Love your WIPS - I only stitch on 14 or 18 Count White Aida or Plain Linen or Plain Lugana. I always wash my Pieces after they are done because it makes them look so much cleaner and so much sharper. They look so much better after I wash them. I only use DMC Threads - I never have any problems with DMC Threads and with CXC Threads I have heard so many complaints about them. I rarely change out the colors on the Design - I like to keep the same colors that the Designer chosen for the pattern. They know what they are doing and I never ever had any bad colors in my Stitching yet and been stitching since 1970. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🧵🪡🧵❤️
Lovely parade, especially your idea for stitching on every WIP in a year! Thank you for the link to free Harry Potter charts. They’re on my to do pile now!!! 😂
Love your projects, gorgeous parade. I was unable to hear/understand the linen on the Cottage Garden Barn Owl. Totally my fault, I have a hearing deficit and sometimes I just can't quite catch things. Thank you 😊 Happy Stitching -Kimberly
No problem, it’s a piece of 32ct evenweave from Coffee Craft Fabrics that I picked up from their Facebook group. Apologies, I tend to get tongue-tied trying to say Coffee Craft Fabrics so that probably didn’t help with the understanding x
@@SilverbunniStitches yes, come over and say Hi! You might not believe me given the fact I’m on TH-cam but I’m a shy one too. I’m probably going to get there quite early so just come and claim a space at the table you’ll be so welcome x
Thanks so much for showing all your wips! So many beautiful patterns; they’re coming along great! Love the Disney ones.
Loved seeing all your projects. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching ❤️

I’ve got my eye on that Japanese garden kit and keep thinking I’ll get it - it’s so pretty
It’s gorgeous, I had been eyeing it up for a while so when I saw it at £22 it was an absolute no-brainer!
Lovely WIP parade, so much variety in your stitching. Really like your idea of the hanging threads to keep track of what you've stitched on each year.
Thank you! 😊 I have your WIP parade on my list to watch tomorrow x

LOVE the dangling thread idea!!! Great WIP parade -- a few new designers to me (a shopping I must go).

You are so welcome! Love a good freebie chart 😍
I love the first WIP - 'I stitched his nose'! I am sitting in Portland OR having my first cup of coffee and enjoying your company.

Of course! FiddlesticksAU on Etsy, I believe it was called Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth Stamp x
You are sitting in a goldmine with that Winnie the Pooh kit! Love all your WIP's
I know! If only I knew in 2017 what I know now - I’d have bought all the ones I wanted right then.
Are you at the floss friends retreat in July? I am attending on the Saturday 😁
Yes! I’m there both days x
Looking forward to hopefully meeting you 😊 (last time I sat in the corner being all shy 😆) x
