Hello and welcome back to another Kingdoms of Arda video! Today I’m taking you through all the noteworthy factions we have planned to include in Kingdoms of Arda, the Lord of the Rings Mod for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. This Bannerlord Mod is a very ambitious project that will be split into several releases. The First Release will include Gondor, Mordor, Isengard, Rohan, Dunland and Harad along with a few smaller factions. There’s still no official release date, but when there is, you’ll be able to hear about it on this channel.

@@ahoosifoou4211 there's a pretty cool Warhammer mod out now, and also 1 or 2 Game of Thrones mods. Then there's Eagle Rising and other Roman mods in development (Burning Empires, seems to be a large mod as well). Also the Star Wars mod (Separatist Crisis) just released footage of gameplay and may soon release an alpha or something, hard to tell
This will legit be the greatest LOTR game of all time (and there’s a great many that are amazing).

Yeah and just remember that each major faction will have a faction quest. For Durin's Folk it will be to reclaim Moria. Imagine facing the balrog and a horde of goblins with your Dwarven brethren

🌟UPDATE:🌟 After discussing with the team yesterday, we concluded that players should indeed be able to take control of Minor factions as well (Dorwinion etc.) It might be slightly different and more simplistic than for the major factions however, so keep that in mind. Thanks for watching and all the support guys!

@@GingerRæfill Am I the only one who think that weak factions (lore wise, with a big problem at hand or with no previous "big empire" before them) rising and achieving victory are more satisfying than with "big player of this world" with big territory from the start, previous glory or because "DESTINY !!!" ?
Hi, thank you for this! Really excited for the project. One request: When you get to the Easterlings please give them proper gold coloration. They are my favorite faction and the TW: Rise of Mordor mod completely diluted the gold in their armor and makes them look bad. Please use other sources for inspiration such as the Games Workshop models and also the original TW: Third Age mod instead for their look (that mod has a really cool look for the easterling archers) 🙌

Seeing Lotr community growing strong in every moddable game such as: Mount&Blade, Medieval 2 and Atilla fills my heart with hope.

This mod is crazy ambitious, this is what the gamin industry is missing. Passion, it has lost its soul to over corporatism. These are truely great developers like we had back in the 2000’s.

ALSO HOLY SHIT AGANDAUR, that brought back a lot of nostalgia.
Right now, I'm replaying The last day of the third age in Mount of Blade: Warband; it has undoubtedly reawoken my interest in this project, so keep the updates coming. They are fantastic!

This could be its own game, hands down greatest work I’ve seen real triple tier stuff. Love how passionate and in depth this project is. Greatest thing I’ve seen along with bfme II Reforged. Can’t wait to Play.
The best mods are for all intents and purposes their own game and they effectively leave the original in the dust
1st playthrough: Ithilien ranger & once the forbidden pool falls defender of osgiliath
2nd playthrough: Dunedain ranger, conquering fornost
3rd playthrough: Rohan rider
4th playthrough: Mordor (how could you resist the trolls)

Somehow they have never really been done justice in mods, like third age and m&b warband the last days.

I'm looking forward to this more than any other modding project or game out there. It's also nice to see Agandaur return from War of the North. Angmar has always been one of the more interesting lands to me, and one of my favorites, especially after LOTRO with Mordirith, The False King. Even if it's small, I'm still happy to see it will be playing a part in the North. Keep up the good work and thank you!

After watching the video i'm just siting here for 5 minutes trying to figure out what to type...And i cant come up with anything but compliments .This is the only TH-cam channel where i leave a comment,and its always a positive one.I honestly don't know what to say this is just awesome.I don't think i will play the first release because i want to experience the game when its completely finished.I really hope you guys have a lot of fun making the mod and i really appreciate that you are making this mod that we can all play for free.Telewords should reward you guys after the first release because this is not just a lil mod this will feel like an new game.
Well if you don't play the first release you will be missing out on a lot of fun for years :P Yeah no doubt the mod will increase their sales, but them giving us money, might be a problem.

Many of your major factions I would accept as minor or bandit factions, to make the task less overwhelming, but I see you are aiming big here and mixing in new or less know realms to spice things up. DaC is one of my moste played game ever and I'm really looking forward to this mod getting tested and playable, making Bannerlord something I want to play again. It is sad to me that one of the games I wanted to play so bad just got boring so fast. It did not keep me in the singel player as Warband did, and the multi player is so hardcore I haven't taken the time to get good. Good luck and have fun with the project!

Sadly not the project doesn’t accept donations. Some of the devs have Patreon or alike though.
