The kiddos are so stinking cute. I had a clingy son and had to sneak out of the house when he was four and if i didn't he'd chase the car down the street screaking, "don't go i will never see you again", it was wrenching. It slowly got better and around 12 years old i could finally sit on the couch by myself.
Watching Emma excited about Christmas makes me miss those days when my kids were little. My oldest is now 21 but when she was small my hubby would pretend to be santa a ring her on Christmas eve to make sure she had been a good girl. I can still see her sitting on her bed with the phone waiting for him to call and with the biggest smile when the phone would ring. My hubby would hide outside and call her always with a big Ho Ho Ho as the first thing he would say. Enjoy Christmas with your beautiful family it goes so fast 🎅🏻🎄🎄

Love the dollhouse project. My Mom and Dad made two dollhouses for my sister and I for Christmas one year. This was back in the 60's where we didn't have Hobby Lobby or scrapbook paper or pre-made doll furniture. My clever parents made the furniture (bunkbeds, a canopy bed, rocking chair etc) themselves. Mom used left over fabric to wallpaper the rooms. My Mom sewed all the doll clothes using left over fabric from my siblings school clothes. It was magical the time and love and creativity they put into these four room houses that even included doors to close and padlock so baby brother couldn't get in and mess everything up.
Do u guys know how extremely flammable eucalyptus trees are? They are literally designed to burn. This is part of the reason why in Australia we have such bad fires because the Eucalyptus is one of our native plants (Koalas live in and only eat them) and they burn :( im pretty sure when they burn they start a new life phase or something. But either way you guys get bad fires in California also, I would probably look into Eucalyptus trees more and see if having one is a fire hazard or not

Bermuda grass will be dormant or "brown" in the cooler temps but it will come back as green and beautiful when the temps get warmer. The good thing about the grass being dormant it doesn't need mowing.

For Justin. Just an idea you might like. We bought the darkest black tarp we could find...one that allows no sunlight to shine through. You can lay it on top of the weeds and secure it....section by section for two weeks at a time, throughout the winter. It will kill all the weeds permanently.
