There is a “shorter” way. Once your phone has been connected after the first time, just make sure your BT is turned on, on your phone before you crank up. 1. Hit media on radio 2.Hit Menu, 3.Hit Sync-Media 4.Scroll down to “Select Source” 5.Scroll down to “Bluetooth audio”

I used to do that but the shortest way really is just hitting the voice command button on your steering wheel and just saying "bluetooth audio" when prompted. I only go through menus if I'm having a conversation with someone when I want to connect my phone.
My car showed a blank media setting I pressed okay anyway and still follow the instructions and it still works but make sure you turn your car off and then turn it back on before trying this

How do you get it to automatically go to that when you start up? I’m having to keep going to media menu and all that

yeah I think the bluetooth is like a first generation type so its buggy now to the newer generation bluetooth devices I could be wrong
I have the same year and system. I just use the voice command and say bluetooth audio. Kinda annoying, but it works.

what if you don't have the option for sync media. my 2015 has sync settings and sync applications and I feel like I've tried everything
