    Vigorth makes sense under dozing. It's the *only* Pokémon that cannot go to the Dream World due to it's ability preventing sleep. Other Pokémon with the Vital Spirit ability have alternative abilities, making them able to fully sleep to enter the Dream World. So any "deeper" sleep wouldn't have made sense for it lore wise.

    I live with my pops. The best for me is when I rush home from work, tap a nap (shower and cook dinner while the naps in place) and my dad comes home from work and screams “YO BUDDY WASSUP!!!” 😂🤦‍♂️

    From my experience, the snoozing "window" (time between movements) starts around 5 minutes; possibly even less, but I haven't tested too thoroughly. I typically set up my ++ on a cushion, and then every 10-15 minutes I push down around it (just once) to create the slight/gentle movement. Naps come out as pure snoozing every time (after the initial slumber). Looking at how DruWevr's charts sometimes hit dozing, it looks like the 3 rock method is more than you need.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes it's possible 3 rocks is too much. We've tested various other times as well. But the "max" time so far is around 19 minutes. It's best to look at "max" time as we can always go a bit shorter than that between movements.

    • @smuzz89
      @smuzz89 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Bropenings Totally agreed; knowing the maximum time is very valuable as it helps us make our efforts more efficient. 20 minutes to re-enter slumbering also seems like a nice, round, reasonable number that the devs would set.

    I get Dozing and Slumbering the most. I remember I couldn't even get Snoozing sleep for like a month at times lol... Then for about 7 straight days straight out of every month, I get snoozing and it's ALWAYS during the time I do not need it!
    I put my POGO ++ on a flat surface in my closet for anywhere between 15 mins to about 2.5+ hours before I pick it up and actually put it under my pillow, inside the pillow case LOL
    (If I'm aiming for Slumbering, I'll wait a long time to move it into bed lol)
    (If I want Dozing sleep, I'll put my POGO ++ to sleep and then go grab it from the room/closet for about 20-30 mins and then move it under my pillow.)
    (For Snoozing sleep... My best trick is that I'll leave it on the flat surface, in sleep mode for about 1 hours. Then I'll put it under my super nice pillow, inside the pillow case, BUT, I'll use a neck pillow and that all works wonders!)
    All seriousness though... With a POGO ++, once you've figured out most of it, it's almost impossible to mess up your recording of your sleep!
    I even play the game, while it's "asleep" lol
    Quick tip too... It's super hard to wake up your phone from dozing if the POGO ++ hasn't already been "asleep" for hours!
    I HIGHLY suggest, get a HARD Cover case for your POGO ++!
    It zips up and causes it to not move as much, plus you will NEVER accidentally wake up lol

    I almost always get dozing and slumbering, but im definitely going to work on getting snoozing these next few weeks

  • @glumada2
    @glumada2 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    What works for me:
    Slumbering: not move at all (up to 5 or 6hrs)
    Snoozing: move in 10min Intervalls
    Sozing: move in 2 min or less intervalls
    There is also a way to force Balanced without hitting the "perfect" distribution: you have to move very much, but not so much that the game thinks you are traveling. I got the message "sleep style could not get determaind because of to much movement" and it ended up balanced AND counting the whole time. Probably the intensity of the movement must not exeed a certain limit

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That latter point is what I meant by 'default' when there is no initial slumber. It's very harmful to sleep time tracked if you're only dozing though. There's also a "hyper" dozing I didn't cover in this video (I did previously) which just deletes all subsequent sleep data due excessive movements beyond dozing norms.

    It's not perfect but here's what I've been doing to get more snoozing naps on my phone: I'll start a nap while I'm making dinner so it starts with slumbering, then have a movie or youtube on while I eat (The phone is near enough to sort of hear it). And then also leave music or youtube on during the rest of the nap. I don't listen to stuff very loud so it doesnt give me dozing. To prevent it from getting slumbering, every now and then I press on the soft surface the phone is resting on, but not touch the phone itself, so it only barely detects movement. I wasn't sure how often to do that though, too often gives me dozing. That's good to know that 19 minutes is the threshold for slumbering!

  • @22NightWing
    @22NightWing 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Phone tracking user here.
    Regarding the whole 19 minute interval shake thing... I've just downloaded an app that automatically fires off an alarm at an interval you give it for an amount of time you choose.
    Potentially this can simulate the shaking every 19 minutes (or more if you want dozing).
    I'll give it a try over the next week using a Vibrate alarm every 19 minutes for 10 seconds each interval and share results if the app is effective.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That should work too. Only issue is some of these apps are alarms and don't turn off unless you interact. So you'll need to do some smart engineering (like make the alarm very short) to make it work.
      Also some alarms will keep repeating until you interact also and could become dozing instead.

    • @ToeKnee104
      @ToeKnee104 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Vibration will work for this too but you need to be super careful!

    A day ago I managed to get a full snoozing graph (besides the start and end slumbering) for my nap, using the "gentle" strat, I held up my phone and whirled it on my hand carefully for a about 15 seconds, then to the desk again. I repeated this every 10 minutes for 2 hours and it worked nicely.
    I should probably test exactly how many times I must do this to count as constant snoozing, because I feel that 10 minutes could be extended up a bit.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Do we know how long a range the "past data" uses for the averages? E.g. is it 2 weeks? 30 days? All time? That might impact how much you want to "cheat" your sleep stages without messing it up "permanently" for real sleep.

    • @Bropenings

      I think it goes off that exact day but from the week prior!
      I had 60% snoozing and less than 10% dozing and I got dozing today!
      For the previous 2 days, I had about 15-20% dozing and never once got dozing! But compared to last week... It adds up!

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Slumber 15-20 minutes to begin session tracking.
      I just leave the device on the bed as I work/play on my phone. Keep the device extra close and all those movements should count as at least half-half dozing-snoozing. In which case you would get dozing sleep type since you have low dozing on average.
      If using phone tracking can also just try increasing the volume of the sound/noise you're playing. Just be aware if you are forcing dozing you must finish the session with another 15-25 minutes otherwise it'll record the whole dozing period as failed.

    From Monday, when do you actually start taking naps. I am still not sure how everyone is doing naps and for how long. I am to scared to test it so I only ever end up doing a regular sleep sessions but it seems some people in the community including yourself tend to do 2 sleep sessions per day effectively doubling pokemon spawns.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      There's no set time. Try it a few times to see if you like it. The main downside is bonus biscuit goes to the nap session. If you have enough sleep points or biscuits saved up it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
      One of the biggest advantages is it maintains higher pokemon energy throughout the day.

    • @zaxele
      @zaxele 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sleep Score = recorded sleep time (minimum 90 minutes) / 510 x 100
      and
      Drowsy Power = Sleep Score x Snorlax Strength
      So your Snorlax Strength needs to be high enough or a short nap won't spawn more than 3 pokemon. See raenonx Spawn Count-Score Lookup Table for more information.
      (And sleep score only counts up to 510 minutes a day, but you can log up to 13 hours a day for pokemon evolution. But it's not very important.)

      I theorise the idea is it registers less movements because you are putting it against another (often harder) surface like a bedframe. Also perhaps less contact to the actual bed mattress means less movement detection in 3 dimension.

    This theory sounds like nonsense. I spent over a month on the beach and I only have snoozing and only 3-5 times something else. While spending a month in theTaupe Hollow when I was looking for syndoquil, I saw nothing but slumbering. I don't use any special tactics. But I refuse to believe that my sleep type changes depending on the island I'm on.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm not sure what you mean by nonsense, but what you experience is normal. If you are consistently getting 1 sleep type for 1 week, you should be very concerned that the next week you probably won't get that sleep type. That's how the game balances and averages out your sleep types.
