    I see this as useful for BFS Pokemon and Berry Specialists, but it also makes an inventory up skill or two great for ingredient Pokemon overnight.
    Everything seems balanced to make sure no one strategy is king.

  • @Bropenings

    Sneaky snacking only happens when carry limit is reached (by combined berries & ingredients filling the Pokemon's inventory).
    Just to clarify, having a HIGH sneaky snacking ISN'T a GOOD thing. If someone is flexing how big their sneaky snacking is, it could mean their inventory are LOW. They are farming less ingredients and main skills when they're often sneaky snacking!
    I'm just explaining in the video HOW it is calculated. And that berries are FORCED drop instead of ingredients.

    Bro, thanks for the video as always! One of the best contents for a game that doesn’t explain too much about it for us. I’m not sure about skill not triggering. I woke up this morning with full capacity on all my pokemons and both wigglytuff and quilava had their main skills triggered! I will record tomorrow so I can upload for you to see. Thanks again for the video!!

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The skill triggered before your inventory got full. Then it "banked" until you woke up. It means if you have high inventory there would be more chances for a skill to trigger.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have confirmed after over 48 hours that no skill can trigger if the inventory is full the whole time

      @@Bropenings oh that’s nice to know! So when I go sleep I still have few hours for my pokemons to trigger otherwise they won’t anymore. Thanks for the explanation!!

      So what’s the general tip? How do we get best sneaky snacking?

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @harrynguyen755 sneaky snacking isn't a good thing! It just means your inventory is low and you hit the cap and prevents you from farming more ingredients and triggering more skills.

    Thanks for the great video! This still leaves me wondering about my own experiments. I was testing sneaky snacking with my own marowak. I reloaded the game every minute between two of its drops (this is done easily by opening and closing the pokemon menu, the sneaky snacking menu will open if a pokemon experienced overflow since the last time it was loaded). My marowak under my current conditions provides 110 strength per berry, so if it has one sneaky snacking trigger, it should hit for 220 since it’s a berry specialist. What’s interesting is I have never seen 220 appear even once, the smallest number it’s seen is 440. And like I said, I checked for sneaky snacking every minute for its entire frequency period, which was roughly 20 minutes. It hit 440 once and then 440 again 20 minutes later.
    If I don’t time the checks that I do, then I can see 660 or 880, or even more if I let it run longer. But why can I never see 220 which is what should be expected? I think that the first berry drop a pokemon finds during sneaky snacking is worth double for some reason, that or there is a bug that makes it trigger twice the first time it overflows. Would love to hear your thoughts or see this get looked at deeper than I can.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว

      I've thought about your comment last time but don't have an answer for you yet. If your experiment proves true, then it could be bugged. Or maybe a single trigger is never displayed and game waits for 2 triggers before counting as sneaky snacking.

    • @tyhill111
      @tyhill111 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Bropenings to your second point, I thought that could be the case as well, but if I was doing my math correctly I don’t think it’s true. At full energy I will get 440 power every 22 minutes, which lines up pretty close to its expected frequency. If it is bugged, then people could potentially be doubling their berry power by reloading every 15 to 20 minutes or so. I haven’t looked in depth enough to know for sure what’s going on

  • @TheJessyJanda

    It also might be worth noting, I think the possibility of triggering a main skill happens more frequently the more berries/ingredients that mon is holding. What do you guys think?

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว

      I tried removing 1 production unit from each mon and allow pokemon to trigger skill every 24h. Only 1 mon (psyduck) triggered over 2 days.

    Does the energy level of the helpers matter when sleeping/sneaky snacking? Or will it always be at a multiplier of 1x or base frequency?

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My example is 1x because I purposely wanted to keep the maths simple.
      If you are sneaky snacking at 100%, you will get the usual 2.2x multiplier on frequency.

  • @raymanthegamer4623
    @raymanthegamer4623 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wait 100% energy is 2.2x, i thought it was 2.5x?

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว

      2.5x was based on very early data, and it's now believed to be closer to 2.2 according thanks to the efforts of Raenonx server's data collection and analysis.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว

      How would knowing this affect your gameplay?

    • @Avisee
      @Avisee ปีที่แล้ว

      If there’s no limit to sneaky snacking, then a good strategy would be to never collect from pokémon to maximize berry gains.
      But if there’s a limit (which i would think there is), then you would want to make sure you collect frequently enough so that you don’t “lose” berries. Assuming if you hit a sneaky snacking limit, you don’t get any more berries or ingredients

    • @Avisee
      @Avisee ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it might be hard to test though. because who knows if sneaky snacking limit would be a daily limit (i.e. you can’t earn more than 30k strength in 1 day from sneaky snacking), or a limit for one sneaky snacking session (total number when you open app after a while)

      @@Bropenings With the information we have, and the current hard caps on Pokémon level (50), meal bonuses (+142%), and cooking pot base size (45), it seems that stacking favorite berries at 100% drop rate from Sneaky Snacking would result in higher Snorlax Strength than if you used a more balanced team to cook meals while still finding a lot of berries. Only collecting from your Sylveon or Wigglytuff to trigger its main skill to give your 4 other berry specialists more energy while they Sneaky Snack, or if you don't have one of those, then just using 5 berry specialists.
      Serebii indicates (on the Helper Pokémon page under the Ingredients section) that the maximum duration of Sneaky Snacking is 168 hours or exactly 1 week. If that's true, then in order to facilitate a Sneaky Snacking playstyle, you would need to collect from your Pokémon at least once a week.
