Love your defense course, highly recommended. Only finished the 1st section but already improved greatly in sparring, now I get so much more from sparring when I don't have to constantly worry about getting hit. Great stuff champ!
of course it is. there is a time for everything. that's why it's kickboxing and not just kick. if you are better with hands or seem to think you will have an advantage with boxing your opponent and not letting him kick, then close the distance
I have such a bad habit of keeping my lead arm down when striking, I'm always getting tagged. My Kru is constantly remidning me to keep my arms up. I don't know what it is that makes me lower my lead arm?

Repetition, practise at how bring back ur hands to your face whilst striking
Shadowbox in front of the mirror with your sole intention being keeping that hand up.
Watching too much Floyd and Strickland. Happened to me
@@AaronBigland-r5u I throw a jab with my lead hand and realise my arm is down. Before I can correct myself, pop.
@@USMC_LAterZmaybe your shoulders are getting fatigued? And you are subconsciously trying to avoid it? If that's the case try some conditioning.
