We had 4 hosims. A couple of them got smashed up in the hurricane. Hes been trying to get some up and running before its to cold. He has been wanting one of the bigger ones. I was gonna try and get it for him when we get done with the clean up and our place is fixxed. Love the videos ty😊
if they show up Black Friday 150$ I might get one - I cant justify a 300$ pop on Hosim anything. Although I have dropped 170 on the Lagendary Crawler - Comes with functional winch and and 2 different lights on the controller.

No matter the budget, if it falls into Thunder RC´s hands it will FLY and it did, so far it survived him 6:40 minutes, lol, for a 1:8 and 3s that aint half bad, how is it that fast "only" on 3S while most brands require 4s/6s on 1/8th scale, good job Hosim. PS: Looks a bit more like 1/10th, which isnt half bad anyway.

I can only assume the reason you didn't smash that to smithereens,is because of your driving abilities,if I did that shit it would be in kit form!!! Keep it coming,why not try a hopped up tamia of some kind...if you make 1 of those survive,even 1 jump....you will be R.C GOD!!!!!
Hosims 10th scales are really 12th scale and this 1/8 scale is really a 10 th scale...i just don't get why the bs people...but it looks great and handling is good..plenty durable and designed well.
Reminds me of the X17 Venom. That is a good RC as well. Looks like this new model has a little more power. I hope it's a true 1/8 scale. The X17 Venom advertised as a 1/8 as well but was actually more like a 1/10. Although they both have center diffs, and that's one of my favorite RC features. Plus, there's some solid competition in the $300.00 range. especially with the Redcat Valkyrie MT, TR, as well as the MJX 10208.
@@TheflyingkiwiRC good point. Although MJX 10208 is a 1/10 scale with 4S power. Then there's the Rlaario Omni Terminator(4S capable as well). The Asian RC companies are coming along quite well. They are not all junk.

YA its almost exactly the same as the venum but even at the current price you can really get alot out of this thing. I have one coming and I already bought the metal bumper, Going to put a 150a/esc, and run 3-6s on it. With some wheel extensions :)
Bread ties have a piece of metal inside. Depending on which connector it can short out the exposed solder joints like on Deans and XT60s and catch fire. I would be careful. They sell 3D printed batter clips that hold them together for dirt cheap. That is what I use. They just snap over the connectors.
Its a shame they use a 2 in1 esc...many of us like to use our own radios vs the cheap rtr radios...they need to sell rollers or start installing normal escs..thanks for sharing

It looks like an improvement for hosim, but that price is more than the current cost for an arrma granite, redcat valkyrie, or hyper go 10208

3660 can, 2 or 3s and an 80amp ESC are more 10th scale than 1/8th scale but looks like it took a good bashing.
It resembles a 10th scale more than a true 1/8th scale vehicle, it reminds me of a blown up WL Toys

Looking at that thing the arms on it and the way that bumper is mounted it looks like Redcat makes these. Its just like my Redcat Volcano s30.

No way with those specs is it 8th scale. Typical Chinese company marketing BS. Definitely 10th scale electronics.

I always just use a re-usable zip-tie, the ones you can slide back out. That way the battery stays connected and my bread stays fresh
