If they’re going to do themed legendary packs, they should do a Allard-Liao/Yen-Lo-Wan set. Versions of Yen for Justin, Kai, and Danai and maybe the Hatchetman Kai used on Twycross to make it a four pack.
Yep. All these Mechs have been used by various iterations of the Bounty Hunter throughout the BT timeline. Bounty Hunter is the universe's Dread Pirate Roberts character.
@@dubuyajay9964 For inter-clan stuff, sure. Ever since they emigrated to the Inner Sphere however they've begun operating en fiat and essentially replacing ComStar's niche. The mad ii in the draconis colours with the green arm is a reference to the special mad ii bounty hunter unique that happened in mechwarrior dark age. There was a world wide event and the faction with the most wins got to have the bounty hunter in that faction. In this case is was the dragons fury faction (which was a subset of house kurita). I remember playing in that event back in the day
Loving the Bounty Hunter and company. That 100 point Marauder II is scary the symbol is the mark of The Bounty Hunter. As for box art inserts I cut them out and trying to figure out a frame for them as a collage
The Mad-Cat S has 4x SRM-6, 2x MP Lasers, 1x LP Laser, 1x Emotional Support Small Laser, and 2 HMGs on the chin… So what you thought were AT-4s were the SRM Pods.
I hope the QC issues aren't a trend in their production. It was disappointing to see it on some iconic mechs, especially in a pack with the title "Legendary". Still, it's great having more of those iconic mechs, as well as the Loki and a two launcher Griffin.
These look pretty cool. Plastic Loki II is awesome to see. Hope these do become available later on in their webstore. I’m kicking myself for not being in the Kickstarter but at the time my Battletech was not getting used a lot. Would have loved to share all this goodness with my foster-to-adopt kids that came along after the KS ended. Both my boys are interested in BT and each have a force pack box of their own. We’ll see how that develops over the years and maybe I can snag some more of this stuff on general release
Be glad you didn't get into the Kickstarter as the stuff will show up on shelves quicker than most backers will be getting their stuff. (actually a lot of people have been seeing the kickstarter stuff showing up on random shelves already) And so many backers got completely screwed by the shipping costs. I myself had to pay 40% extra on top of my order for the shipping and i still haven't received anything with 0 news or information of when i'm getting my stuff.
Woof, yeah that detail on the GRF-2N's chest did look rather soft. Gonna have to keep my eye out and see if that's an off casting or a problem across the board with it.
i have 6 Legendary Mechwarrior II / III salvage boxes in my KS pile.. just got my tracking number email so it shouldn't be too much longer till i get my pile
Counting missiles has gotten a little more complicated because at first I too thought the madcat and warhammer were using ATM's, but instead it's SRM's and MML's respectively. MML's are slightly more flexible from my understanding though. I kind of wish I grabbed these from the kickstarter but they'll end up on sale somewhere, and my pile of mechs needing paint might be lower by then lol. Really nice seeing that loki Mk II though. The dark age loki was one of their better sculpts even if that still meant it was a clix game sculpt. One reason I've been very curious to see how the CGL versions turn out for that era in particular. I don't love that era, but their designs have been pretty good on average.
ATMs are clan tech while the MML is a launcher that's an inner sphere designe to use both lrm and srm ammo, you have to or atleast recommended to have atleast one ton of ammo each to get the most out of it. I don't play clan but I believe ATM is it's own special ammo class that changes depending on range.
@@eddapultstab2078 They're mechanically similar in that ATM ammo comes in several range/damage types, but that's all you get, while MML's get access to the additional SRM/LRM ammo types.
Bounty Hunter is not a person ... it is a mantle, there have been at least 3 that i know of ... the Bounty Hunter tends to find a worthy protégé and trains them to be "him" in skill and mannerisms to keep the legend and myth going that its one individual
on point with the quality control. Keep beating that drum younhave my support!
That idea about the insert and being able to flip it to reveal a scenario/force organisation is genius!!!!

I wanted this one so badddddd. Gotta wait for it to be sold now. That Hellbringer II is a legit mech unlike the first iteration.
I got 4 of them.the hellbringer 5 thors.i liked those 2 clans 75 tons
The symbol is a crossed out C-bill the bounty Hunter's motif. Cbill is a currency in universe.

Sea Fox uses the Kerensky. 🙄 @@WRXSEVEN

The PVs on many of these are so high because the Skill value is baked in (based on the named characters the 'Mechs go with.)

They really should've called it Bounty Hunter Pack instead of Legendary III

Tex sums it up as basically the dread pirate Robert's from princess bride. The person doesn't matter but what he represents does.
