I like the idea but don’t like the forward position of the console. As a bass fisherman we like the front deck room and it looks like there is plenty of room to move the console to back to maximize the front deck space? Also, the speed is definite killer. 250hp-300hp 8k rpm should be closer to 80+mph like regular outboards.
How does the impeller and pump compare to the old sport jets? Is it as durable, can it handle debris and trash in the water as good or better than the old sport jet pump?
Yes!! I have as 7' door also but am limited to the River Jet only. My River Jet sitting on the trailer with 10' talons sat at 72.25'' from floor to top of talons. Another thing to remember is the trailer...With the River Jet I have about 1.5'' clearance on either side of the trailer between the trailer fenders and the garage door opening. The trailer on a River Rocket is wider and will not fit into my garage.
River road jet boat outboard set up is better. What happens when rotax decides to get out of jet business like mercury. I would not put all my eggs in one basket

Stomp grate handle up top looks like a toe stubber, great looking setup though.
These motors are up in Canada in jet boats just blowing them up left right and center

James Reed seems like a durable set up. but it will take time to make that call

Seems kinda slow moving in comparison to the engine revs.. like the emergency brake is on or it’s dragging weight

Supercharger equals problems whether its a car or a boat.
Agreed. I'd rather have a larger displacement N.A. motor. for reliability.

I just need the motor, currently have an outboard jet and want to convert over to an inboard jet
@@shanescottiii5277 Why inboard? Repowering a outboard whenever you want and triming it is ideal.
