Your presentation was clear. What I am curious about is: Are lecithinases present in the host genome and just not switched on except in pathogens? Are lecithinases an artifact of phage infections that either deposited the enzyme or switched it on? If toxigenicity is an attribute of phage infection, then could the lecithinase test be considered a marker for phages as well as the pathogenic bacteria? Would you be so kind as to go through the steps on how to do a phage assay that can be seen visually?
Wow you break down things so well I wish you could be my instructure for every science subject! could you please do a video on the lysogenic and litic cylce. Prokaryote host (transduction-generalized, and specialized) and the life cycle of animal host.
Hi Lizzy! Check out one of my older videos here: th-cam.com/video/ffzjbisa5LM/w-d-xo.html It goes over the life cycle of a virus in an animal host. Here is another of my videos that will help you: th-cam.com/video/uJH1G7MDC5E/w-d-xo.html It goes over transduction (just the generalized form). I will look into a video For lytic and lysogenic cycles and specialized Transduction, just search TH-cam. There are a lot of videos on that topic. I don't like to do videos that already have 10+ channels doing the same topic. Let me know if you have any other suggestions!
Thanks for the video! You teach way better than my teacher and explain it straight forward, simple and understandable than the textbook
Thanks for the easy explanation.
Wow!!! The way things have been explained makes this test feel plain sailing...
How can I focus with all this beauty!
