oof, yeah xD I got preoccupied as I got hired to work as an RP officer for a SWTOR guild then college started up again. I find it funny how in the last chapter I was all "get ready for hyperspeed blah blah blah next chapter" and things ended up more like this... th-cam.com/video/X-rkFaIPyL4/w-d-xo.html
I think the next installment will probably come out either by the end of November or Mid December, late november/early december I'll be in the process of moving. Under normal circumstances I would be starting that video now however I want to wait until Jedi Fallen Order comes out. I want to record video examples from that game to show force moves such as Force Slow as this is something the Jedi Temple Guards would have use as it is a variation of Force Bind in a way. Or maybe I can get regular Force Bind in the game? I can only hope we get lucky and there's some Jedi Temple Guard lore in Fallen Order. Once I'm moved into my new home, future videos won't have such large gaps between upload times. But thanks for staying subscribed and I hope you enjoy future content!
I'd say that realistically, at least, when I am using a saber staff, I am incredibly dynamic with my blades, I constantly turn on and off blades individually. Allowing me to (using a saber staff with 36" blades) thrust, block, and attack effectively in form VII, and form V, my primary styles
Just found this channel and I finalky found a more in depth look at the Jedi temple guard. In my opinion, as the Jedi temple itself has wide open spaces and hallways with wide and high ceilinv corridors, templr guards with double bladed lightsabers can switch from soresu, ataru, shien and niman as to take advantage of the wide spaces for different vectors of attack.
You should get two of the lightsabers from galaxies edge. I really recommend them, and you can buy a custom connector online. There are even folding connectors
I’m thinking for the temple guards with double bladed lightsabers they mainly used form 1 and form 6. Whilst those with single blades mainly used only forms 1 and 3 this only because their class didn’t focus on combat as much as the guardians, and had to manage a combination of martial prowess with for abilities in their combat styles.
Everyone keeps referring to the "weakness" in the middle where the hilt is for the saberstaff. A staff user doesn't stand still and spin the staff vertically in front of themselves. (Well, except for the Inquisitors silly 'helicopter' blades.) I'm trained in staff techniques, and the spinning motion is constantly shifting from one side to the other, an occasional horizontal spin over the head or around the body, or even behind the back. Just like any type of hand weapon, the user works with and around the weapon.
I think i would use the saberstaff because I constantly turn on and off my blade, but I would also trap anothers ligtsaber between mine becausse I can flip it around
That is true as he was a padawan thus would have learned Form I as the basics, though I would say his master was using Form VI. Truth be told, Cal might not even have a formal form as he's improvising to various situations he's put into.
Good to see your back keep up the good work
