In honestly speaking. I felt hard breathing the moment he sang this song,,, its so wondeful to heard and can motivate yourself... So for those who have talent Don't lose it, we are here to support and care always...
Remember he doesn't know English, he is simply singing what he hears, he doesn't know what the words really are just the sounds of the words. He ha had no vocal training at the time of the recording on the Wish Bus. He grew up on the streets in the Philippines after being abandoned by his parents.

Every time i listen to him singing the Power of Love, he makes me tear up...
You expected too much on Marcelito Pomoy, remember his a male artist and not a female artist, comparing him to Morisette Amon was the worst thing coz Mori is singing on her natural voice while him was just a re-creation of Celine's voice. Mori doesn't feel nervous singing coz she's singing with her own voice while Marcelito has to be very cautious while singing coz he might not be able to deliver the piece he wanted to cover "in female" voice. Hope you will see his performance on different level and not just compare him to a 100% female voice, it's very unfair, a word of encouragement is not hard to say.
If there's a heart button for this comment i will definitely hit it.. he is a guy, so there's nothing to compare to.. i felt sad watching this, sure we have out opinion in everything.. but comparing marcelito to morisette, it is a big no for me too.. marcelito has his own unique talent. Listening to their reaction leaves me really disappointed in them. They should react to the singer..not compare them to another singer. Of course some are better than others sometimes so they aren’t really reacting to him but comparing him to someone else. Im a big fan of Pomoy and Im rooting for him to win AGT Champions, but Im gonna say what many Filipinos are afraid to admit. YES. He is very talented with his wide range of vocals. BUT He is a mimic. This is why every song he covers will sound close to the original. He will sound like Celine Dion or Beyonce but none of you will hear him sing in his natural voice. He can try and find his voice, but like I said he is a mimic and after years of studying other singers instead of developing his own voice, it will be very difficult . Mad respect for Pomoy and I hope and pray that he remains successful in what he does because he bloody deserve it.
Yeah he mimics someone whom he should not suppose to, which actually made him unique. Well the Philippine music industry is shit anyways which is why he's not given an original. In the Philippines popular actresses/actors- turn-into-singers which can even outsold many great singers here. LOL

Nice Reaction. Marcelito sings Dual voice which is quite normal in the Philippines. He won PGT at 24. He is very underrated in his country. Most start with the Prayer. He is completely untrained. He was homeless from 7 to 24. Marcelito needs someone to take him to the next level. He learned to sing using Karaoke. He adores Celine. He credits her and The Prayer as saving his life. At this time in Marcelito is married with a family. He is amazing for many reasons I think. He would be wonderful at Disney movies voices and singing. He has a huge sense of humour and very humble. He can mimic just about anyone. If you want to see range you might want to react to Dimash singing Sinful Passion or The Love of Tired Swans.(as well as an amazingly gifted and talented singer.)

Marcelito is not trained unlike other singers. He was homeless and lived on the street from 7 to 18 years old. He then joined "Pilipinas Got Talent" and won.

As pointed out by others, it should be noted the Marcelito is self taught and doesn't really put himself out as a professional singer but he is a superb entertainer. You should listen to the duet by Marcelito and Morissette of Secret Love Song at the Wish Bus awards. They are good friends and the fans requested an impromptu duet from them.
