- We spent 10 days in the arctic circle, northern Norway. Here is part 1, our time in Tromsø and beginning our October road trip to the island of Senja.
We had a cold and wet start to this adventure but still enjoyed being in such a special and remote part of the world, plus we got to see the Northern Lights!

The northern light can be very colourful. Mostly in crisp weather, wintertime. The Sky is beautifully cobaltblue and the northern light much more clear and charp.
Miso seeemed so happy and free on that beach! Wonderful trip, ladies!

Very well filmed and good choice of music. Lillian, I will have you know that I am studying German. I already speak English, French and Italian. German is definately a challenge. It's a bit daunting to wrap ones head around the fact that with declension there are 6 or 7 different articles.

Great video. Have fun, stay safe. Drive carefully and drive as if your brakes are very poor. Fresh new snow is the worst as you have minimal traction on the road.
I live in Nuuk, the capital city of Greenland at the 64th parallel, not quite as far north as Tromsø and Lofoten, but still in the Arctic. We get northern lights as well.
In ancient traditional native Greenlandic myths the Northern Lights, the Aurora Borealis, are the souls of the deceased playing football with a skull from a walrus. If you whistle at the Northern Lights, the dead will think you want to join them and then they’ll come and whisk you away. Best to contain your whistling activities to the daylight hours. 😁 I think it’s really cool to see how happy and loving you two are in each other’s company. It’s heartwarming to watch. ❤️🤗

Lol poor chickens. Miso of course was just plotting the whole time and jumped at them (I stopped recording in that moment) but good thing she was on a leash. They stayed their separate way for the rest of our stay ;)

What food did you take with you in your luggage to eat in Norway? I’m going to Norway next week and to save money I’ll be taking some food for my travel days on the train. I was thinking malt bread and flapjack, protein bars etc. Thanks for much for any advice xx
