- We're excited to announce that we're now officially an engaged couple :) It happened in Norway about two weeks ago, and here we are to tell you all about who proposed, how the proposal went down and all that good stuff...

11:23 this was so cute “she’s telling me that now, but in case it ever goes this far, remember that!” It shows how deeply you two care for each other. Honestly I wish you all the best! Lots of happiness and love and growing old together! Maybe it’s corny but I thought of two things after watching this video.
First I wanted to say that I’ve been watching you two for so long. You girls made me realize that love between women can be beautiful and normal and there’s a future in a relationship with another woman. I always thought that it was okay to love one but ultimately I wouldn’t end up with one. But seeing just how mature you two are, how honest you are with each other, it made me think, why not ? This is also possible for me, I don’t need to end up alone. So thank you for that!
The other thing I wanted to say I guess I wanted to share a poem that someone shared with me. It also made me see love differently, just like your videos did. And because it impacted me so much I try to share it with others sometimes. It’s by Heidi Priebe. It’s about love and change and how loving someone is a declaration of faith that we will love each new versions of them:
“To love someone long-term is to attend a thousand funerals of the people they used to be. The people they’re too exhausted to be any longer. The people they don’t recognize inside themselves anymore. The people they grew out of, the people they never ended up growing into. We so badly want the people we love to get their spark back when it burns out; to become speedily found when they are lost. But it’s not our job to hold anyone accountable to the people they used to be. It’s our job to travel with them between each version and to honor what emerges along the way. Sometimes it will be an even more luminescent flame. Sometimes it will be a flicker that disappears and temporarily floods the room with a perfect and necessary darkness.”

Congrats on engagement. Seeing people like you guys makes me be hopeful to think that life is equally possible for all. But what matters is how we travel through it and treat loved ones.
Being practical, independent ,matured and strong , you guys make me think it's possible to be so.
Especially seeing my parents with a breaking relationship currently. I get that gender and sexuality doesn't matter for things to work out, people do.
