MAN! I cannot believe the work that went into this video. Planning/engineering, 3D modeling/printing, stenciling, painting, electrical, programming 😮 AND that’s outside of the video itself! Filming, lighting, audio, editing. Your passion, skill, persistence and patience is truly admirable. Top comment says it all - “criminally underrated”!!
Damn, if I was a mid to high level film producer, ain't NO WAY I'm not hiring dude for Props/SFX! I mean imagine him teamed up with Kamui Cosplay's Svetlana & Benni?
This turned out amazing ahhh! I always look forward to your build videos. I was wondering if laying down painters tape before applying the vinyl stencil might help prevent the paint from peeling up as much. It’s always the little things, right? 😂❤
@@Zibartas impressive. TH-cam university has bridged the gap for me many times but I’ve been working in the field for a while now so most of my experience is from that and growing up as a hobbiest EE.
Well 3D printed parts are usually more precise and rigid - important aspects for a mechanism. EVA foam on the other hand is great for lightweight stuff - so ideally you would use combination of both - as weight is your enemy in costumes, especially animatronic ones :)
Still criminally underrated
I second this statement
Very nicely explained why breaking down big pieces into smaller assemblable pieces is better in almost every way.

Thanks pal!!! Much appreciated!! That's why I'm kinda slow with the uploads haha!!
Having seen the entire getup up close, it is really cool to see the process build of the shoulders 🤩
i ADORE that paint job, its done so well
perfect amount of weathered and that cartoon look
Amazing video! I love seeing the process of these types of projects that both have aesthetic design elements and mechanical elements.
How does this vid not have well over 1m views, this is amazing, good work
Absolutely incredible build and your videos are so well made too!
Great video! I love the genuine excitement when you try it on :D
amazing work and creativity! keep up the great work!
Your incredible. I have no words.
Awesome stuff 👏👏👏

Very well done as always. What’s your engineering background. You have a good grasp on both electrical and mechanical design.
thank you!! And I got no background besides googling and watching TH-cam xD

For animatronic armor in general do you feel like you must use 3-D printed parts or can you use Eva for the majority of the pieces?

Nice, what software did you use ?
