M5Stack Cardputer good as Flipper Zero ?

- I got M5Stack Cardputer for few days now and im playing around with it . After some reading it turned out that firmware update is easy and will totally change this little gadget into prank devil.
I think M5stack Cardputer is quite good for its price and capabilities , and probably has more applications than the Flipper zero.

@@mikhailkobrine5366 hello there, i do not want to destroy anything . If you are referring to my conversation with Nougan , we are friends :) as for the device I’m just showcasing its capabilities
I have some ideas for this like a temporary keyboard or a few IR commands at least. It's for my RPI Pico projects and maybe debugging things in my family.
in my opinion the Cardputer is device with a lot of application and capabilities, sadly I do not have the knowledge to fully use it . if you manage to do your project let me know how did it go if you don't mind share the experience .
can i put a Micro sd card with a movie or a song into it and watch or listen to them on the cardputer ?
Someone did online radio firmware so you can listen to music , but not sure about videos. I’ll have to check, your question sounds cool thing to do with the Cardputer

I have an m5stack cardputer myself, now i cant get it to turn on any more... was trying to put firmware on it now i get a can not connect error message when using m5burner... how do i fix it? Ty
If you are looking in a loop ( connecting and disconnecting) you can quickly hit the delete button in the right moment and it will remove the buggy firmware.

It’s quite easy , check my short on how to update the firmware - once you install the burner tool you will find it
This device isnt even remotely close to the flipper zero.. this video is completely pointless.. alot of devices can turn off a tv lol.. the flipper zero has alot more features than this..
Sure , just because I showcased 1 thing doesn’t automatically mean it can do that 1 thing only. But hey , grab a flipper if this doesn’t work for you

Please. all it takes is an ESP32, LORA, PN532 and some extra sensors and expansion ports and you could basically do the same shit. It might cost just as much though.
what makes it pointless is everyone is a newbie to IT and a script kiddy, and must compare everything else to flipper. When there are hundreds of other devices superior to both and as the same cost points. But if you're a newbie you're a newbie. I shouldn't get mad at n00bs ignorance.
@@mr.s1961 you can be a veteran in IT and not know what to do with a flipper. Hell half the devs i worked with didnt know how to use anything but VS and VS code.
But i agree. Most people dont know what STM32 means or what an ESP32(the cardputer uses) is important. The flipper isnt even THAT special. I wonder if OP has ever used a HackRF WITHOUT portapack lol
