  • Sabin Howard is sculpting the National WWI Memorial, A Soldier's Journey. Here we show his process from iPhone photography in his studio in the Bronx through high tech photogrammetry all the way to his very first time seeing the cast bronzes of the first 11 figures, six years later.
With gratitude to the excellent work of Pangolin-Editions Foundry and Steve Russell Studios.
Thanks to Sculptor Charlie Mostow for steadfast good art every day.
Models include Madeleine Howard, Evelyn Christina Tonn, Zach Libresco, Mark Puchinsky, and Paul-Emile Cendron. Essential to the process are Mario Monti from Franc/NJ and Tom Woodman-Povey at Pangolin.
Videographers include Emily Cameron, Megan Maloy, Paul-Emile Cendron, Traci L. Slatton, and Steve Russell Studios. Directed by Traci L. Slatton
