How did you get the vinyl to stick to the vinyl wood? I have a cutting board here and vinyl transfers I purchased that where made for the board. And they won’t as heat at all

You use food safe resin

If you seal your cutting board with shellac, would that make it food safe? Shellac is food safe, but not sure if it would ruin the vinyl?

Yes it would make it food safe (as long as the brand says it is). You can also use art resin (the brand) because not all resins are food safe.

You need to seal with a food safe sealer such a polyurethane or Artresin (the brand. Not all resins are food safe).
