Plus I was also told not to talk to the "clients" (I wasn't allowed to call them customers and I had to refer to the staff as "client advisors") when I dared to greet them which was demeaning to a degree and to top it off some of these people the way they approach the door and the looks on their faces if it wasn't opened instantaneously in line with their steps, they look genuinely dumbfounded why the door wouldn't open perfectly the way someone looks at an automated door that takes a bit too long. Some of the people dressed like some experimental fashion show from Paris with two terrified little dogs in a backpack and a hat that can barely fit in the door it was like a circus of pretentious elitism. It's worth noting all the salesman themselves were nothing but nice, the manager even treated me nicer when I commented on an antique trunk they had on display (I have an interest in things like that and history in general) I guess she saw me as an above average mook
