On the first hand, I think that Bergen's book "Slam Bidding Made Easier" has a very functional way of finding the upgrade. I think that this hand is absolutely too strong to open 1n. It turns out that if you open 1d you would get to a superior spot and allow for the possibility of legitimately doubling a 3c bid from the opps. My 2 cents now spent.
I learn something on almost every hand, but unless you intend to teach us 😅 when you seem to get very critical of a decision you made that was reasonable and you did not need to take a big risk to catch up I suggest being perfect can be the enemy of being great. See your Board 7 and Gavin beating up on himself.
If you mean 5. I was tilting that it was honor honor doubleton, not because I wished we had gone for it. I was frustrated that we spent so much time to work out the best line of play, only to actually find our good line of play worked out so comically badly in such an anti percentage way. I was not feeling any kind of regret for not finding the winning line. You’re 100% right that I should set a better example of feeling ok with our good line of play and not worrying about the outcome.
Another great discussion and play of cards
Thanks so much Doug.
Super thanks! Love visiting you guys once a week. Will miss you next week
Great again !
My favorite is when Gavin assumes something about the robots and they completely disappoint him😂
Always great to
Nice win boys !

Thanks for the clarification. We will keep watching.
Thanks!
v enjoyable thank you
On Board 8 results we didn’t see anyone open 3❤ which was discussed in the bidding as an option. would it have bought the auction for a 100%???

2 diamonds over 2 clubs is a dumb bid
