RESPECT AND HANDS IN THE AIR FOR DJ PREMIER, DJ CASH MONEY, DJ SCRATCH. TRUTH BE TOLD A DJ FROM THE ERA OF 1970's until the final scratch digital era was the Party Rocker and Show Stopper, we as dj's are versatile DO REMEMBER THOSE CRATES OF RECORDS WERE HEAVY AS HELL !!! AND TO DJ WITH SORE FINGERS LOL but i do recall my dj battles with Jazzy Jeff and Spinbad in Philly during the 1984-1985 era we had great times and when I returned to upstate NY I learned to read the crowd and not judge another DJ again we come in many styles, Battle, Blender, Pack the floor, and of course the one that makes the moment happen. Let's stop critiquing and GO BACK TO THE BASICS OF MOVING THE CROWD !

Itz an opinion thang family, no need 2 get heated. ; )> My top list: DJ Q-Bert, DJ CA$h Money, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Detonator Too Tuff, DJ ie-Merge, DJ Craze, DJ Scratch, DJ NeilL Armstrong, DJ Babu, DJ Melo-D, Mista Sinista, DJ Total Eclipse, DJ Roc Raida, DJ Slyce, DJ Rholi Rho, DJ Moneyshot, DJ Ta Shi, DJ Daddy Rich, DJ Magic Mike, King Tech, Mr. Mixx, The Latin Rascals. & Grasnd Wizard Theodore (Kool Herc, Afrika Bambaata, DJ Hollywood, & Starski) 4 settin' it off back in tha day with 10xz redubbed mixtapes.
Now...Both Ca$h & Jeff used 2 do shows 2gether & shopped at my cousins' best friends' record shop owned by his momz, so they both taught him how to scratch & cut. He then would do house parties 4 my cousin in Hammonton, NJ. (1 time 4 of us went 2 pik him up 4 1 of those parties & were all smashed up in the car with his record crates & speakers. LoL how we thought that made sense, i don't know.) It wuz at this house party in '84 that i 1st saw the "Burp" scratch. Around this time in '84 Ca$h would visit my cuz (Eddie Jenkins) occassionally & cut at his house, teaching him az well. The tapes made from these sessions & others around Philly are wut got me known az "the man" with my peepulz, on my block in Hollis & St.Albans, Queens, esp. @ Shake's krib, like wen DJ Clark Kent wuz passin' thru 1 day & said, "I can cut that up." I said, "Wait!" & 2 minitz later, he said, "Now THAT wuz hot!"
Shake wuz the nastiest Boogie Boy i ever saw [Boogaloo Shrimp wuz a close 2nd].He wuz madd close with The Dynamic Breakers, being their Boogie Boy, & 4 a time wuz my best friend. Big Shake used 2 Cut & Scratch @ Shake's house often & did a nice routine with 5 Star's "All Fall Down", with body trix, that i'll never 4get.
