I believe it’s because he’s one of the only lawful good characters in the game. I suppose Zavala is also lawful good, but he’s also uptight and boring. Saint-14 knows how to have fun and still be respectable.

BlueFH I think it’s going to be part of an exotic quest we’ll get that will mirror events we’ve had with Saint. Much like how we gave the Perfect Paradox to Saint but it was technically his gun for the longest time, and he left it so that we could craft it and give it back to him this exotic will be the same. However the roles will be reversed, instead Saint will be giving us a gun that is technically ours but was given to him after we died and is going to attempt to give it to us to save our lives like we saved his.
Dataminers said there is a secret exotic this season. Perhaps the gjallarhorn? As saint-14 said something about rebuilding something immediately after the gjallarhorns being lost from the destroyed vaults

The Drifter saw the Final apocalypse of the Solar System. Now he's building an army to counter it. Think of him as a human Traveller. He's using Taken to fight for him and guardians to fight the monsters of the pyramid invasion

That's probably how Bungie's gonna end D2 and release D3 in the future where we'll somehow get back up and the lore about a glimpse of our Red War past and how we get revived again will be revealed in a raid near our grave or something like that. Or maybe our character's death was the Dark Age one because we were someone else back then.
I find it interesting because of Time Travel in the present we are responsible for creating us. By the time Saint 14(judging from the dialogue of our "final death") found our body and placed a marker and than our Ghost"from the past" eventually finds us....eh Time Travel has always been confusing but glad to see Shaxx happy
Destiny 3, or even a soon off. Our Guardian is running around, doing tasks and kicking butt as usual. Then we are suddenly ripped from what we are doing and face a group of scraggly looking people. Saint, Osiris, and a young Exo Stranger. Turns out Exo was our apprentice after we became [ insert class here ] vanguard, and a student of Osiris. Some big threat, possibly the embodiment of the Darkness, has come and finally killed us. They are being pushed back and are desperate. They used Vex tech to pull us into the future, but we dont have the strength future us had. So we will now have to kill the Darkness minions and earn our power bsck. All leading up to where the Traveler and the Darkness clash, with us being the tipping point for the Traveler, pushing g it back long enough for the people to get safe.
I hope there's talk about Cayde, zavala, Ikora, or even Saladin when iron banner rolls, I just want to see his interactions with everyone at this point
I honestly believe something is about to happen in the future with our guardian. We die and the darkness takes over and bringing destiny 2 into destiny 3 with the drifter and something like a new dark ages of humanity
i would need a season where we're in the timeline where we see other friends like Zavala react to our death in exchange for ending the red war instead of the Speaker death, Cayde react to our death instead of his in Forsaken, etc

Some big threat, possibly the embodiment of the Darkness, has come and finally killed us. They are being pushed back and are desperate.
They used Vex tech to pull us into the future, but we dont have the strength future us had. So we will now have to kill the Darkness minions and earn our power bsck.
All leading up to where the Traveler and the Darkness clash, with us being the tipping point for the Traveler, pushing g it back long enough for the people to get safe.

i would need a season where we're in the timeline where we see other friends like Zavala react to our death in exchange for ending the red war instead of the Speaker death, Cayde react to our death instead of his in Forsaken, etc
